Hi, you didn't share an image of it ingame but I'm guessing you're talking about alpha order/alpha issues? Have you tried following this tutorial? Thank you for responding. The first link in the post is an in-game picture. Did it not show for you? I am aware of the tutorial but not sure if it is applicable to the issue.

Hey everyone,
I normally stay away from alpha hairs at all costs but my current GuildWars 2 to Sims 4 conversion project requires some hairstyles to be alpha hair. I have been banging my head against the wall for over a month on how to fix this one hair so that will not make the same mistake with the rest. If anyone can tell why it looks like this drive.google.com/open?id=1vGC1hxZulPQdZw7CN_cmbcCZi3i17XOq in game please let me know.

Does anyone know if it possible to edit the rig in blender and then have the new bones import into a package file as a override rig?

Hello everyone! I know May the 4th has already past but I was wondering if someone could collab with me for a Jedi outfit project. The lovely Teanmoon has already liberated the top half of the EA provided Sith costume from the boots, pants, and gloves and has allowed me permission to edit it to give it long sleeves and turn it into a top. At this point I am stuck on the textures so, please is there anyone what is willing to provide my mesh edit a texture?

Sim 3 pack files still have meshes in them and I had a friend that owns 3 but not 4 that was willing to extract and package what I needed. At least that what I have come to understand. I know you are able to make recolors of things but still need the original to have the mesh but I am pretty sure I have been able to get the correct files. Regardless, I think I finally have gotten the mesh extraction and conversion thing down so thank you to everyone that as posted or shown some interest but I think I will tinker with this myself for awhile longer.

Hi I have followed your tutorial; however, I cannot get anything from the package file to show. I have Blender 2.75 and the S3py animation tool but I noticed in the images you have in the tutorial you also have something called S3py plugin library. I do not think I have that. Nor do I have the Sim 3 MLOD/MODL Tools you have under the scene menu. Also, when I open the rigs tool area I do not have the load CAS option.

Yes please I am not worried that they may not sound the same. I believe the sonaflux guitars are acoustic in look so as long as they use the Sim 4 acoustic guitars sounds I am fine.

I feel I must clarify. I do not own Sims 3 nor have I ever used tsr. I am able and have extracted the mesh files as simsgeom files. If you can give me clear directions on how to extract the mesh files as an obj with tsr or a similar program and include all the necessary steps and add-ons or plugins needed, I thank you. If you are able to extract the mesh files yourself or can convert them to obj yourself if you had the Sims 3 package, I also thank you. Either way, please let me know which one you can and are willing to do.

Hello everyone,
I am attempting to convert a hairstyle for men and boys from Sims 3 to Sims 4; however, I am not able to convert the meshes from simgeom to obj files. Is there anyone that would be willing to convert these files for me ?

Thanks for posting this untraditionalnerd! I made it to right about step 14 with my tank top/tucked in shirt which is way further than I ever thought I could get thanks to you. Now if only I could get the hang of step 15 on I would really be accomplishing something.

As the title states, does anyone know where I can find working conversions of the Sims 3 acoustic guitars, specifically the Sonaflux Guitar guitars, to Sims 4. I know ATS has done a conversion of the Das Kauker R86 ones but, they do not have the matching electric guitar sound.
