I've only made a neon sign once. I cloned a neon sign from the game and looked at the textures in Photoshop. All I did was replace the text in the same color grey as the original, and tried it in game, and it showed up exactly like the original sign! It looks good, but at the time, I didn't edit the normals or speculars, but it still looks pretty good! If you open it up in blender (if I remember XD), you'll probably see some lines that indicate what parts are which color, so the red lines around the text show the text will be red, and the blue line around the rest show the outside to be blue. It was some time ago, so I don't fully remember if this was actually in blender. Can you post a picture of what your sign looks like right now?

The same thing is happening with me when I try to edit someone's "liberated" grim reaper costume! I did small mesh edits and recolored it, and even if it's the only CC in my mods folder, once I scroll to the thumbnail, the game crashes!

I actually started a thread about this too, but no one has answered. I myself tried to liberate the overlays in S4S, but they didn't show up in game! :(

I agree! Teenagers should not look like adults! I use a height slider, though be warned, it causes some animations to look funny, so pictures and videos might be an issue! It's not that bad, though!

I noticed that in "skin overlays" each pet type has cool overlays, one plaid, rainbow, polka dot, and ice! AWESOME!! But for one, there are no other overlays that are from the game, and I tried to liberate these but they don't show up in the game! Has anyone played around with these yet? Also, is it possible to add more colors to the swatches where you can change fur colors? Am I even being clear about what I mean?? XDDD

This is a different height slider, like I said, it doesn't make sims short or tall, it makes them tiny or giant.

It's definitely not a graphics card issue! My PC is custom built for gaming, and my graphics card is SUPER DUPER amazing!

I've got good news guys! I've found a way to fix the hairstyles that are appearing darker after the Pets patch (at least it has worked on all my hairstyles that had this issue). There were to kind of problems:
- Most of the hairstyles that had this problem didn't have specular and normal map. In this case adding a plain white specular and a plain grey normal has fixed them. This was the case with some of Newsea, Aveira and other creators.
- There were 2 hairstyles by Butterflysims that came with specular and normal but still had the issue. What I've done in this case is making the specular and normal blank and saving the packcage, then I've gone into the game (I'm not sure if this step is necessary), closed it and then added a new specular and normal.
I hope this helps! Ooh! I will have to try this!! I'll let you know how it goes, because I have a lot of hairs that broke like this!!

Hello! I have a problem with weird shadows around objects and by objects I mean a lot of cc objects. Not everything has these bugged shadows, but a good amount has and it's pretty ugly looking. I'm not sure what's causing it. I didn't change my graphic settings and it only occurred after the Pets patch. :< Also ... some objects are see-through and look very weird somehow too. However if an object is transparent, it normally doesn't have the shadow bug as well, as I can tell so far. Examples: YES!! ME TOO!!! I actually posted a similar post on this thread about it!!!

thank you for looking into it luckily for me its only those 2 files. Lucky! Literally half of all my alpha hairs are doing it! And they are all from the same creators! There's got to be a way to batch fix it, right? And the blocky shadows?!

This is probably the wrong place to ask, but I'm kind of desperate. XD I've been making MLP toys for my child sims to play with, but I've looked everywhere for the Cutie Mark Crusaders and Babs Seed Blender models, and could not find them. I do have them for Source Film Maker and GMod, and I can't figure out how to convert the files so I can work with the models in Blender. Does anyone know how to do this and be willing to do it for me? Again, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask!!
