Yea, I tried to. The data images just turn up as black PNGs. And that didn't help me figure anything out. All I want to do is recolor. Maybe I'll ask Menaceman.

Hello, I just found out that town/city maps are recolor-able/editable but I'm not sure where I can find them.. I tried Objects > Override, but I'm not sure if it is a debug item or the map images are actually located somewhere else in The Sims 4 files. Thank you for your time.

I only edited the sliders. Over at my Tumblr @sirdaubeny. I tried to sign up for Modthesims to let people know, but I messed up the captcha and it won't let me sign up now so..lol. I did what I could. I added a x2/x3/x5/x10 slider. And I've heard that, but I slipped the zips into my game, and it worked for me so, I don't know what to say. I'm just doing what worked for me.
Seems there is another update I have to install so..who is to say something won't get broken again, darn.

HA! I figured it out and I got it to work! prntscr.com/h82zbaI only need X2. The other numbers were very excessive. The size is absolutely perfect! I suppose I can always share this and a few other sizes if anyone wants. I was sure this was going to be difficult but, it wasn't. However, as expected, showering and activities work perfectly fine. BUT doing a manual save resets the weight to Maxis' default size(s). I'm going to attempt to work on a mod to stop fatness and muscle gain. Since the only mod I knew to do that is very dead. I don't understand where its "pyo/py" files came from but, hopefully I can get it sorted out. If anyone has any information, feel free to chime in. Whatever helps! Thanks in advance. **EDIT After refreshing my mods and testing the No Fatness/No Muscle mod again with my max slider mod, it seems fine. I made a test sim. I traveled, performed a save, and their weight stayed the same. I even worked out and ate several cakes and weight did not go up. Whatever the case may be, I guess it's fine..? I did put the entire zip file(s) into my mod folder. Maybe people were extracting them? I don't know but, it seems okay now. (:

Since a new version of the studio was released for the Pets patch, I decided to give it a shot by myself. I can't find any leads so I decided to open the dead mod I referenced above and see if I could understand anything. Well, it's lots of coding. I was expecting that. My question is..where do I even FIND this information? My mod is on the left, and the original Extended Muscle/Fat mod is on the right. prntscr.com/h82iy4I don't think it would be a learning experience to just copy and paste what is in there. And I'm not even sure that would work, since the mod itself is very, very outdated. I clicked the Tools > Extract Tuning > ... and after typing in Sliders, I got a file that was "Tuning" and "SimData" but these were links/tutorials, they said. Which just overall confused me. I'll keep poking around and checking things out. Maybe I can get it to work for me.

Hi there! I am VERY new to mods revolving around modifications such as weight and muscle. Heck, most modding in general..I noticed another thread but, I wasn't sure if I should have chimed in or not there. So there's a mod that stops weight gain/loss and muscle gain/loss which has been dead and abandoned for a long time over on Modthesims. Seems no one can get a hold of the creator(even on the forums, my search didn't get very far).
My sim is a pretty big guy. The Extended Fatness/Muscle sliders mod is a mod I used slightly to edit him just like I wanted. However, it had its flaws, as saving the game would mean the weight changed back to default size(despite people mentioning traveling to different lots messed with it, I never noticed that). It was annoying but didn't bother me, a simple "cas.fulleditmode" fixed it up.
Both of these mods are long dead. And I would really like to get them back up and going in order to achieve the creation level I need. (x3, x5, x10 seemed very excessive to me, so I personally wanted to try and make a 1.5/2 was better.) The No Fatness/Muscle allowed the changes to stay in place. But the Extended Slider mod, which somewhat worked, now seems to be 100% dysfunctional. I really only care about the weight slider, honestly.
I'm trying to be independent and not a burden or annoyance to anyone, so I don't expect anyone to hold my hand. Everyone is very helpful and nice here, so I thought I'd ask for at least a place to begin. Because I'm not even sure where to start or what file(s) to change!

Sorry, this is my first time dealing with this. I know it was probably a very rookie question. Sometimes the terminology confuses me. Thank you again SO much for the help. Silly enough, I kept thinking if I merge the parts as one, it was somehow correct, but that's not the case with a mesh like this. That was my problem. I deeply appreciate the patience and helpful tips you have given me. I am learning slowly but I am getting there. (: Now my mesh looks proper! My texture needs a teeny tiny bit of work since small remnants of blue occur but the scroll(s) issue is gone. But I think that was all I needed. prntscr.com/gej6v6Thank you again! **Seems like when I zoom out, those colors pop into the petals. So I don't think my texture is the issue. Or maybe I need to remap again. I'd consider this mostly solved, though. Aside from that. Not sure what that's about.

I don't know if you fixed the problem yet but, it's not complicated. You HAVE to darken your PNG. It will look normal in game, though. That's just how tattoos work in the sims 4, with the lighting and all. Darken it by like 70%, import, put it in your game and check it out.

But I still can't get the transparency to pop up for me. :\ *** Followed another tutorial again for transparency and edited the alphablend stuff under warehouse.
