Hi. Try saving the diffuse texture as png. Yes! That did the trick! Thank you! But, if I may ask, why does a dds texture do that while a png doesn't?

Hi all! I'm having this trouble with the textures in-game where the graphics are pudding on the sim itself. But when I take her back to create-a-sim, she looks fine. In game: In cas: The black hoodie she is wearing is the one I recoloured from base game, the one highlighted: I have no other mods or CC installed. I removed all of them because of the new update so my game is vanilla. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Hi all! Hope yall are having a splendid day So I have a little problem creating a wall decal that I cloned from the base game kids decals and what was supposed to look like this: Now actually looks like this: I've looked up in the forum and googled about this problem and most are saying that I should look at my texture file and it should be in powers of 2. I checked back my textures and I'm thinking it's fine because it's 1028x1028. Could this dimensions be causing the problem and that I should change the dimensions and thereby the uv map or is something else causing it? Thank you in advance!

Hello! So I followed the first and second tutorials to a T but my painting still shows up with a solid frame. Having followed both tutorials, do I need to make changes to texture files, meaning the .dds files and add an alpha layer in the channels?

Hello! I wanted to create a painting with transparent glass frames. I opened up the Studio Recolorable Painting 1's mesh in blender and I have no idea to proceed from there. I'm proficient with editing meshes from the studio recolorables to make paintings and I've done lots before but I have no idea how to make the frames transparent and has a glassy texture and reflection to it. Is anyone able to help me in a form of an instruction or anything of that sort? What I'm looking to make is similar to this tutorial but I'm only interested in making the frames of the painting like that tutorial. Thank you in advance!

lunatemple , have you checked to see if any of the other maps may be causing this? it could be the shadow map. if so, just make it blank annabluu That fixed it! Thank you so much! Now everything is working fine 😍

lunatemple , did you create a new image on the uv editor and make it the right dimensions? it will be black, but after clicking bake, the background should become transparent. before you click ok on the popup window, make sure you have the background on black. annabluu I restarted the whole process from decimating and I have no clue what I did differently but it's fine now! But when I go in-game to test the mesh, I get this odd looking 'tan line' along the chest area . How do I fix that?

Hi! I'm stuck at Step 10 where I have to add new image. My UV didn't turn out black with my md mesh selected. It just remained the same with the basetexture and my selected md mesh. When I checked in the image tab, the image did create but if I manually change the image to the black one and select my mesh and try to bake it, I get the error "No objects or image found to bake" ???
