To make it short, sweet and simple, my Sims jaw is locked whenever trying to perform a custom talk animation. The joint that I'm using to move the jaw is the CAS_JawComp, if that matters.

hi! it'd be useful to know what these "unique" features are. you can simply open the rig meshgroup, enable all elements (all eyes grey to white) and edit the parts you need to reflect your sim "features". then pose accordingly. the pose is the only thing that gets imported so all is well. the advanced option, that I can't help you with side I'm not knowledgeable enough and never tried it is in this thread: sims4studio.com/thread/6328/extract-model-people-gamethere's not really someone in that thread that can help more than that.. so read what's there and try it works. again, the first option is what I suggest since it's easier. By "unique", I meant that my Sims eye scale and shape (among other things) were a lot smaller and angular in comparison to, say, the model Sim given in Blender when creating poses and stuff. Normally, because of this, I'd have to constantly fiddle with the model's eyelids in order to produce the desired eye expressions on my actual Sim in-game... If that makes sense. In example, this Would give me this:

My Sim has very... "unique" features I find it very irritating to have to constantly go in and out of Blender to make tiny changes to my pose/animation when it shows barely a lick of a difference in-game. It's annoying to have to have to do all these saves, move files around, start the game, close the game, start blender, close blender, see little to no changes in the game, etc. I've got a good idea that I'm not the only one that finds this whole process irritating, so I'm hoping that there's a way to go around it by having my Sim replace the model that appears in Blender. But, if there is no way around this, I'm also fine with dealing with this process. I just find that having to do all this closing and opening and testing discourages me from wanting to create more new and unique poses/animations. To anyone that has any ideas, your comments are greatly appreciated!

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm extremely annoyed about the fact that EA didn't include the ability to change Light Color and Light Intensity for lights in Build Mode. It makes changing the intensity or color of invisible lights impossible. If anyone could create a mod that enables the pop-up to present itself, preferably when holding down Crtl + Shift + Left mouse click, similarly to in the Sims3, that would be amazing.
Thanks in advance.

Hey, krisgroove. Do you mean having sleepwear clothing to show under the everyday, formal, etc. clothing categories? If so; To have it show under Everyday, Formal, Active, Party clothing, etc. Click Filter Items then Outfit Category and then check Sleep and all the sleep wear will show up.

Jeez, I need to be more active. My apologize for not being clear enough. When I said "Animations with objects" I meant doing an animation WITH an object. In example, having a sim do a custom animation whilst picking up an object like a vase or something. Hopefully that was more clear? Another example would be someone wanted to make an animation involving picking up a knife and doing other actions with it. orangemittens sweetsorrowsims andrew Bakie

Being able to make animations and poses has been out for quite some time now. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to make animations with objects and if so, TUTORIAL!! I may be asking this question a bit too early but I'm just curious. Thanks in advance
