Okay, I tried both of those things, and they DIDN'T crash my game. So then I imported my modified mesh, and scrolling down to select it in CAS did not crash my game. However, when I selected it, it crashed. It's got to be the mesh for some reason.
I didn't append anything, I copied the nude bottom and pasted it into the file with the "biker" outfit. But that hasn't got anything to do with mirroring the other leg. After I joined the nude bottom with the outfit, I started editing the left leg so that the part I cut out looked smooth and even. I needed the right leg to match the left leg, so I duplicated the left leg and mirrored it. So now the right leg had the same vertex groups as the left leg, so i had to remove the left leg groups from the right, and reassign the right leg vertex groups to the right leg. I'm... not sure how to be more clear. XD
How do you do this with an object that can turn invisible? I know the shadow on objects is a different mesh group. I have an object from Around the Sims 4 called Block-My-Route, which is a big block you can use to make sure your sims don't walk somewhere (like through decorative objects), and it has a swatch to turn it invisible like OMSPs. However, when turned invisible, you can see the fricken shadow. I'm pretty sure hiding it inside the block won't help... or will it?
If you can't hide the shadow you can edit the shadow's mesh and move the uv to a part that doesn't have texture. (A white area in the atlas shadow map) . It should be invisible in game.

I'm using Wishes version 18.104.22.168. I just now did both of the things you suggested. When importing the original mesh into the already made package, the game still crashed. Then I remade the package by cloning the original outfit like I originally did, and only imported LOD0 of my modified mesh, and it crashed again. The mesh is a frankenmesh, where I cut out the jeans area of the original mesh and replaced it with a male nude bottom, and that area of the diffuse map is transparent, the idea being to be able to use accessory pants underneath or be nude for whatever reason. I removed double vertices, I deleted all vertices from the nude bottom that weren't to be shown, and I kept all layers and cuts from the original mesh, so I've no idea what the problem is. This is my second time running into this problem.
I do have to mention that, in order to make both legs identical, I DID have to delete one leg and duplicate the other, but I reset the UVs to their proper places, and I changed the vertex groups so that the legs move separately like they're supposed to. For the life of me, I can't imagine what could possibly be causing the problem...

I'm actually having this problem with two of my creations, but I'm just going to share one for now. I modified the mesh for the base game's full body outfit "Leather Biker," and now when I have it in my mods folder, I'll scroll down in CAS to find the outfit, and as soon as the thumbnail just barely shows up on screen, the game crashes. Here's the package file:

I'm posting in here because I know there's a thread already, I just can't find it... I have thumbnails in CAS that are just red Xs, and the items don't work. Where can I find the thread explaining how to fix this?

I have a few CC items in the "hat" category that are accessories, like bows or tiny top hats, but they still have the hat cuts, which looks horrible. I'm not the creator of any of these items, but i want to fix them. How can I make it so a "hat" doesn't cut the hair?
