I just took a gander and I don't see that one in my list... Can you give me the file? x I sent you a quick message with a link to the file. I wasn't sure how to share it without sharing the hair itself, which I was unsure of doing since it was from an expansion pack.

Thank you so much for the reply! Unfortunately I'm still beginning in learning how to use Blender and hairs so I don't quite have the skill yet to do this myself but I appreciate the video tutorial. It's the ym_partedshort hair from eco living.

Hi! I'm trying to recreate a male character in the game who has very specific hair. I found a hairstyle from the Eco Lifestyle pack for males that almost perfectly matches what I want, but I am unable to figure out how to recolor the hair so that just the bangs are a different color. The 'bangs' or the swoops of hair in the drawing are exaggerated for stylistic purposes, so I'm not looking for anything identical or as crazy looking. So the eco hair can have the same mesh, I want the front strands of the hair that swoop forward to be a blonde color. I've looked for some hairs but haven't been able to find anything. Thank you for taking a look and I hope you have a good day!

Hi! I've been looking and I'm probably just plain lost, but I would like to frankenmesh an object. In this case, I want to attach the dog ball mesh (I would be recoloring it) to the tip of a magic wand from Realm of Magic so I have a cute wand with a ball on top. I know how to put meshes into the same file (I think that's what it's called?) but I do want to make sure that the ball mesh is attached to the wand so it wouldn't fly over the place.
Any advice or pointing me to a frankenmesh object tutorial would be awesome. Thank you!

Hi! Not sure if you're still active. I'm a bit rusty but I would gladly make some tracks for you. I made some awhile back but I haven't uploaded those. I don't have access to my game right now so I can't give a preview. I've been meaning to update what I have currently so this would be a good chance for practice.
How old are the scars? Are they recent? Are they only on one arm or on both? As far as tattoos go, I could make it so the tracks come as skin details instead.

Hello! I'm just wondering if anyone could finish up a decoration item. Regarding meshes I already have one ready to go. It came from a free 3D object website and I was able to scale it down. Would anyone be able to finish up the project? I have a file ready to go, there's no Shadow Mesh besides the one from a cloned object. The cloned object has already been deleted. (A set of kitchen knifes in a box from the base game). In the blender file there is the trumpet which has several parts and a high poly count sitting on top of the shadow mesh of the kitchen knives. I don't think the mesh has been mapped out properly yet, the only thing I did was scale it down and plop it into a cloned object file. It might have been mapped out by the original creator but I'm unsure. Chances are that the trumpet's size is unrealistically big but I was afraid of messing something up by scaling it down even further. If someone is willing to turn it into an object the mesh definitely needs to shrink some more. If needed I can go and scale it down but other than that I haven't a clue. It would still need to be colored and textured. Even if you can get it to just be a basic gray color I can go and recolor it myself, unless you want to color it in. I wouldn't be able to make it shiny. This is a big project so I'd be grateful if someone could finish it up. A trumpet would make for a pretty decoration. Here's the .blend file! www.dropbox.com/s/jv9u71nltdnhz3y/hagfisher_knives_to_instrument.blend?dl=0Thanks for reading and I hope all is well with the simming world! ETA: it's a big file. the object definitely needs to have a lower poly count. Personally I'm okay if it doesn't but it would help.

hagfisher They are great my husband is very excited to have these in my game for his sim. Just let me know how to download them. Many Many thanks for this. No problem! I had a lot of fun recoloring the mask. This link goes to my google drive and you should be able to download the file there. I might add more solid colors in the future. If there's anything funky with the file then please let me know asap! download

Hey! I'm new to recoloring so I was only able to make the solid colors, but I do have a solid dark blue mask recolor, too, if you wanted to add the white trim. Regarding solid colors I'm new to bump maps and stuff so I couldn't do a good solid recolor. Oops I forgot to upload the navy blue pic, but it is very similar. Anyways, if you'd like I can upload the .package files. I'm very new to this stuff so I totally understand if this isn't what you were looking for.

Hi! I might look into recoloring some similar looking hair that is in the Sims game. I might also be able to make some facial hair but I will need to look into starting it. I am just beginning wth modding and would certainly enjoy a challenge!

Did you get the original creators' permission to convert the items into Sims 4? I'm no expert at converting, but I can totally link you to some awesome CC that I use for medieval stuff. If you were more interested in specific priest or monk clothes, I can try and recolor an already existing mesh from the Sims 4. Anyways I browse through these sites when I'm looking for great historical CC. Historical Sims LifeSims 4 Medieval FindsIf there were any specific items from Sims Medieval, someone could probably convert those right on over to Sims 4.

Hi! So I've been recoloring a toddler bed. I've been putting some lovely Thomas and Friends designs on the covers and making the texture of it look a lot like the bed I had when I was a toddler! Anyways, I'm not sure what other colors I should use. I might make green, blue, and maybe some variations on those colors. (Lighter, darker.) Any other color ideas would be awesome. I'm also wondering if I should get rid of the Thomas Decal at the foot of the bed or put something behind him. It looks a little too 'slapped on' for my liking. Another thing I might add would be different pictures on the bed, like one with the Thomas Decal on the cover, one that has Percy the Small Engine as the cover image. That one would have green covers, of course! Just like how one with solely Thomas would be blue colored. Any, if you would be interested, is there an engine you'd like to see on the covers? I'm mainly thinking just a Thomas-Centered and Percy-Centered recoloring, along with recoloring the bed pictured below. This is my first recolor of a bed!

I didn't really understand your last sentence. You might be using a high boot for your mesh, but the package you cloned was a short boot that only replaces the feet not the rest of the leg. That is why you should clone a high boot instead. Everything is a learning curve, and you'll know nothing until you read about it and learn from it. If this is the first thing you create, then i'm going to tell you that isn't considered beginner. But if you read it and actually follow the tutorials then you'll learn from them. This part of the forum is for helping others and teach them or guide them so they can finish their own projects. Doing something for others isn't considered teaching in my opinion. I can move this thread to the Request area if you'd like so someone might see it and want to fix it for you. Thanks for all of the help and I'm sorry to have wasted your time ^^;; if t isn't too much then could you move the thread over? Again I'm sorry for sounding like a complete fool haha... I should probably stick with skin details for now. I'm not sure anyone would pick up where I left off but it would be worth a try to move this thread over. Again I can't really say how grateful I am for your help!!

As i've mentioned earlier, please export the mesh of a high boot and accommodate your item parts to that. You'd probably have to append a bottom leg and edit that as well to fill the pieces of one leg that will be missing (due to the high boot taking space of it) as for the rest, if you're creating new meshes from scratch then be sure that you've followed the following tutorials. - Weight transfer. - UV_1 (morphs, see video at the bottom of the 1st post).- vertex paint (so sliders and uv_1 work)I just want to say thanks for trying to help me with this! I decided I know nothing about this. I'm not good with Blender anyways. I'll probably just give up and not come back to it. I could figure out the textures, but the rest of it I'm completely lost. I'll, uh, post the blender file and the .package file here so if anyone wants to take a look and maybe fix it. The basic meshes are all there, I just can't figure it out. Ideally, since I'm using a high-heeled boot to make this, the end result wouldn't have a high heel, instead meshing a non-heeled shoe to the bottom of the full boot. Package linkBlender link

hi! any modifications you do outside your mesh group will not be imported. What you can do instead, is start from a tall boot cas item instead of a short shoe. Export its mesh and accomodate your item to it. The problem is that... i don't know how well it's going to work in game, since you can't have two different heights at once.. i'm referring on how it's going to look with tucked bottoms. Okay so I returned to the original mesh I based this off of, which is a high heeled boot. Would I just cut out the one side of the boot and then insert the mesh for the prosthesis for that leg? Another thing I encountered is that part of the prosthesis just kinda floats around in game. Specifically, the curved part of it. How would I assign it to be attached to the prosthesis so it doesn't float all around the sim?
