Hi all! Hope this isn't incorrect. I've been searching for hours on "lost CC" type blogs who have tried to pull together the files this retired creator had, but deleted. While some are floating around, I just cannot for the life of me find any of their Borderlands stuff. Specifically, I really wanted the Jack set (full body outfit + boots). Does anyone know where I can find them, or by chance are willing to share? I would be eternally grateful. thank you.

I was curious about the type of shine I can achieve? I converted Nuka Cola bottles from the game Fallout4. The way they're made, I can't really use a shader to just make the bottles glass, cause then it looks all wonky. So to prevent them from looking flat, I wanted to explore this. But I know on a glass bottle, a shine wouldn't be very soft like on clothing.
Is there something I can do about that, or would it be in my better interest to leave them without shine?

I had found a hair I want to retexture/color. I've tried doing this in both standalone recolor and full on clone, with same results. The hair is supposed to look like this: i.imgur.com/pU6wKNI.pngIf I just directly open the original package, it looks fine, like in the above. But if I try to do a Standalone or clone of it, it shows up like this: i.imgur.com/pjmhFi6.pngoriginally it would give me an error too, but I updated S4S and the error part has gone away.

Just the ribbon from the previous hair, separated and put on as a ring accessory. It's still aligned to go with the Ophelia hair, but I had some requests, so... here it is! Please feel free to recolor using my texture.

This hair is from another game, an MMO. I converted it and took care of a lot of issues it seemed to have and it was my very first major S4S project! I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to the tutorials here. Apologies for the name change, the preview pic is a few months old and I have since changed my handle on tumblr. The download link takes you to a page that has a list of several versions of the hair. It was a large, tedious project that had a lot of color requests, among other things. There is also a separate file you can clone for the sake of recolors/retextures, so you dont have to download the giant ones. You don’t need to download a separate mesh for any of these. You can have any of them in your game at once. They will not override each other. They are also hat compatible. I tried my best to match up every swatch to a Maxis color (as far as genetics go) so that way your sim babies can inherit it and stuff properly. Or at least in the ballpark. The first set includes 62 swatches that vary between My naturals, My unnaturals (including pastels, for those who asked!), and Pooklet’s unnaturals. The second set includes Maxis Match colors, excluding the salt and pepper colors. Additional preview, courteousy of friend grilledcheese-aspiration:

Hello again. I really love practicing to paint on my tablet, and I love painting hair even more. So I abuse S4S and sim hairs for it. This mesh is Skysims Aliza, and you need to download the original mesh for it to be compatible. The DL link here is a merged file for all colors. To download colors separately, please visit here. There are three different files if you do not want the merged. Natural Hair comes with 15 colors. Unnaturals come with 27. Ombres come with 32. Thank you, and please enjoy.

I took an old texture for doll eyes that I never finished and turned them into something a little more cyber-y. They are in facepaint! You can also get a black sclera version here. Preview: Please enjoy! Thank you for downloading.

Thank you Orangemittens!
I found the tutorial, but the links in the thread you linked (the second one specifically), the link doesn't go to the right place.

(Apologies, wasn't sure what section to put this in. None seem appropriate)
I've never run a batchfix before or anything. Do I have to move any .package files anywhere? Or does doing the dishwasher cheat fix everything (Maxis and my mods?)

Hello. I apologize for the dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere, and when I ask others I keep getting directed to this thread.
How can I make a recolor (of a hair for example) and NOT include the mesh in my download? Some creator's TOS let us retexture, but ask that we do not give out the mesh and to link back to the original hair. So far when I use the Standalone Recolor option, it includes the mesh?
EDIT: Welp I feel stupid, I guess it didn't copy the mesh. If that is the case, then, how can I include a mesh on retextured hairs (provided the original creator allows it)? Or do I have to direct people to download the mesh every time?

Well that's embarrassing. I must've not used the right searchword or something, because they wouldn't show up prior (but do now). Sorry to waste your time!

Hello! I'm sorry to bother. I've followed this tutorial for hair recolor/texturing and it's worked just fine before. However, I wanted to try to make custom eyes (the facepaint/"Contacts"/non-default kind). So I put in a custom eye set I found so I could clone it and just replace the textures, but they aren't showing up in S4Studio?
