Your sims look so cool! I agree that Tumblr makes it hard to interact, I tend to stick to the Sims 4 Forums, and in particular the Writers' Lounge over there. There's a tonne of story links on that first page, which is amazing for inspiration, ideas, and is just a brilliant place to sit back and kick it with some laid-back SimLit writers. If you ever consider doing a legacy/challenge, or a story swing by for inspiration and cookies It sounds like your save fits into a neighbourhood rotation, there's a thread about that over there too which might give you some ideas, a couple of the writers are currently playing a game like this, and writing about each individual household. No matter what you do, can't wait to see more of your sims!

Don't worry, no cowplants were harmed. Except for the carnivorous one, but it's not my fault. The 1st day I fed it, and then another day I was just tending to my regular plants in the garden, which there were lots of. Then I looked at the cowplant and noticed the cake, so I was like "Oh I gotta feed... WHAT THE!?" as half a second later it turned into a skeleton. Well, that cowplant was too greedy, I say. But these babies will live forever <3 I might try animating them to sway gently, if I find any tutorial on how to make it work in the game. Or at least add more variations of colors and shapes. I was actually thinking of making a cowplant bonsai, not sure how that will go ;P I'm loving the look of those baby cowplants! Do they act like the big ones? Have you seen if they dance to stereo music like the big ones do?

Not from my country, but these photos are from a holiday I took to Venice about 7 years ago. This pigeon is coming along for a ride. It actually stayed up there for a few minutes, chirping away and pecking at my face. And then it's friends decided to join in on the fun. None on them pooped on me either, so that's a bonus!

i think the only reason the game is still so enjoyable is because i use it for story telling and pictures so I don't have time to get frightfully bored with the game play, but on the off days that I just decide to play I get bored very fast, especially with the social factors, there are so limited interactions with the sims. But alas its still only the first expansion! and we got a lot of stuff to look forward too i really do think sims 4 promises to be the best of the sims we just have to patient for the entire game to actually be in completion, and even though that is frustrating its also part of the sims process lol. I am hoping that Get Together will prove to provide more to do than Get to Work did. Get to Work was great and it added some interest but once you explore the three careers for a few days it becomes a little boring too, Get Together seems to offer more social interactions rather than just focusing lots to visit ( the careers) I also am hopeful that there packs will continue to offer a lot of variety to the game to keep us on the edge of our seats in the middle of the expansions. I agree relying on cc is a bummer on one hand but on the other hand its what makes Sims one of the most fun, creative, and interactive game ( which says alot since its a single player game aha) I often make a new character when I start getting bored with one just to stir up things but sometimes you can get caught in a loop where you got too many new characters and you miss out on some of the fun that can come with a well played character. My main character is nearly maxed out on his skills ( for once i didn't cheat in this area) and the maxed out skills offer some new game play sometimes. Refrain from using cheats for the game to get the max amount of difficulty and it may help too because we are guilty of motherloding the poo out the game :P I'm of a similar mind. The only reason I play the game and find it enjoyable is because I use it as a story-telling tool and CC is a massive part of my stories. Some of my friends over on the S4 forums and I joke about needing to join "CC Anonymous", and maybe if we're lucky we'll get the super rare badge "CC-Free for 3 days." I find that the challenges here keep me wanting to play, and I often scan the S4 forums to see if anyone is looking for sims for a story and I go and create someone for them.

are those cars useable or just deco? Just deco. You can set it up using MOO so that it looks like there are people driving them. Like the screenshot below: I used barstools for the truck, but a car might only need a chair. Oh and notjoeyramone - I'm struggling to get the logo to look right on the female body. I'll work on it a bit more and let you know how it goes.

hey, great work. do you make custom shirts? I have no clue how to make them and I was wondering if you could help me out and make a Ramones shirt for females? thanks, it'd be greatly appreciated Heya, thanks! The shirts in the pizza store were my first attempt at making custom shirts. There is this shirt available, but if you're looking for a basic black tee with the Ramones logo on it, I should be able to sort that out. If you want to learn how to do some recolours yourself, the tutorial section here is great! I use photoshop, so if you have that also I can tell you how I got the 'Hell Pizza' logo on the clothing.

You're welcome! Should just create a regular recolour which you can edit and rename as you like.

Hello,
If you hit CTRL + SHIFT + C in S4S, just like in game to bring up cheats, you can enter 'buydebug' and the readable books from in game will appear. You can edit them and they are pretty easy to do so.

god damn what an awesome club. in the top pic on the tumblr page there is a sim holding a sword how did you do that? Thank you! Took about a million years to finish. It's a combination of two things: A pose by flowerchamber, she makes some hella good poses. And the actual sword is from karzalee, who has a few other types of swords and other weapons.

Just wanted to share two of my latest creations: Klassy, Glassy & Contrasty (A Recolour of the Klassy Large-Format Marble Tiles): LinkNorthern Lights ( A CC Heavy Community Lot): LinkI spotted Omorfi-Mera's latest lights before I shared the lot, and considering they were also called Northern Lights they just had to go in to the build. Don't they just make the ground floor scene pop!?! Anyway, list of cc for the bar is available under the link. Thanks guys, munterbaconsims

Hi. These look like fresh wounds, not scars. A lot of people get this wrong, because, I guess they don't really have any scars. Healed scars would be paler than the skin, because there's no pigmentation in them. But if your skin is pale already, they're not that different from skin color. The only thing that makes them stand out is the texture. They can stick out or dip in, depending on the injury and whether it was stitched and so on. Right now this looks like your sim had just one very recent bad accident. You didn't describe her story, but if your character has been getting in trouble a lot for a long time, or if she survived some bad times a long time ago, you might want to give them a healed look. All depends on how old the injury is, I guess. I once had a big scar that looked red like this at 1st, after stitching, then it turned pink as it healed, and is now white - close to my skin color but a bit paler. I'm only speaking from personal experience. It might be different if the wound was infected, or if it's something like a chemical burn. Well, perhaps there is a plastic surgeon on the forum, they'd know best Ah good, I was hoping someone with personal experience might come along. I wondered if they were too 'fresh', I'll try lightening it up when I next work on it. Thanks for your input =)

Forgive me if I'm way of course here but would cloning an item like one of the outdoor lamp-posts, coat rack, or one of the statues and importing the column meshes/tuning work? The only thing I can think of that may look whack is when using spandrels.
