If you go to Viewport Overlays and the select Face Orientation option, you'll see that the "back" of the mesh is red, which means that the mesh only has one correct normal face (the front one), you will need to apply a solidify modifier on your mesh.

Hi, recently I had to reinstall Photoshop and that means I needed to install the Nvidia DDS plugin again, and when I went to save my DDS file (a specular map so my objects shines a bit), the options are very different from before and I don't know how to correctly save the file, can someone please help me? I thought the right options will be this ones, but I think that's not right since the specular map is not working at all in game:

If you have a Nvidia graphics card, you can try this for the game: Close your game > Download www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-inspector-download.html > Open NvidiaProfileInspector > At the very top type in sims scroll down and click (Sims 4 ) > Under the compatibility Tab look for Antialiasing fix > change the setting to (On) then Hit apply. Not sure if it will work for S4S as well, but it usually fix it in the game.

Hi, recently I've been having issues with my textures in game, like in this case, it looks "normal" in S4S but when in game it looks extremely pixelated. I've tried 2048x2048 and 1024x1024 sizes, when I try 1024x1024 it gets even worse. In some other cases, it also looks blurry on S4S and in game. Does anyone knows what could causing that? I also have noticed that it gets blurred using .DDS or .PNG, so I don't think the problem is the file format. My game settings are set to Ultra and I use a Nvidia RTX2070. Could it have something to do with the mesh itself and how should I make/approach the texture size in Blender? What I don't understand is that I've never had such problem with my previous creations then out of nowhere it's like that :( this one is also blurred on S4S:

mauvemorn I will edit the Region Map then, thank you very much!! As for the texture problem, I see that lots of other people who create acc doesn't seem to have such problem so that's why I think maybe I'm doing something wrong? :-[

Hi, I've made a camera and I'm trying to convert it to an accessory, it works in categories like right wrist and gloves, however when I try to make put in the hair category this happens: So does anyone knows how to fix it? Also, the texture looks very low quality for some reason, the original texture is very good quality but when I upload it for my accessory it turnes very low quality, blurry and pixalated like this: So I was wondering why this would happen and how to fix it? I'm using the texture hat space in the uv map for my accessories, but the quality always gets compromised and I really don't understand why so any help would be highly appreciated. Here's the package and blender file in case you wanna take a look at it: simfileshare.net/folder/104750/

Hi everyone, I love brntwaffle's No Blue Lighting Mod, but sadly she hasn't updated her mods in a while, there was some updated for them made by another creator but none since seasons, I read somewhere that now there's 4 files that would need to be updated in order to make the Lighting Mod work again, and I was wondering if someone could please help me out to find which files are those and how to proceed regarding updating the lighting mod? P.S. I sadly don't know much about how lighting mods work, so I would need some deep instructions I guess? Any help or tutorial links would be great, thank you.

@fadedplum oh not need to apologize at all, thank you for trying to help ^_^ thank you brujah I'm trying these tutorials right now! Though, I always have the impression that when I use the "remove doubles" option the mesh kinda loses a bit of its original shape, am I mistaken regards to that? Here's the counter: simfil.es/369053/

@fadedplum I did the baking but that's definitely not the issue or it would also appear on S4S :/

Hi everyone, I'm trying to make a cup but I'm having problems with a shadow that sort of divides the cup in half, it looks normal in S4S but not in game and not on blender, here's how it looks: and the same is happening with this counter, it looks fine in s4s and in blender, but it looks like this in game (it was suppose to be all white, not darker in the doors and drawers): So my question is, why does it have this weird shadow and how do I fix/remove it? Thank you in advance!

Does sims4studio detects sub folders when running batch fixes or do I need to select each folder manually?
