I've double checked everything and my mesh still has this weird shine to it. I'm using the game texture, specular, and bump map and have also tried using an empty one of each but it still has a shine to it no matter what I use and which object I clone. I think it may be something happening in blender...but I'm not sure. There's a pic HERE of what I mean and the file HERE. If you have the kids stuff pack you can see that mine has an obvious difference in shine than the one in game.

I want to take the the part of the plant tuning that spawns fruit and add only that to another object. Does anyone know if I can do that and if so which parts I would need? I've been trying to figure it out over the last few days and I'm stumped.

Okay, I see what you are saying. I still can't find those round filled cereal covered ones. I even checked the salmon croquettes because they look the same to no avail. I think they were new with Dine Out update.

Could you guys make it so that when you copy a slot any rotations with that slot copy as well? Would save a lot of time - rotations are the worst! Oh, and I still can't find those doughnuts that were missing in buydebug...I know it's not super important in the grand scheme of things...just want to make some deco copies of them. Thanks!

I have the DDS plugin for gimp and there is a BC/DXT5 option on mine. Maybe redownload it?

There's an option to delete all cc thumbs in Tools>Batch Fixes>General. This will delete all the cc thumbs from everything in your mods folder. I don't like to delete the the CAS cc thumbs because without them I can't find anything so I pull this folder out first, then run the fix, then put the folder back.

I had the same issue. I just downloaded OM's curtain HERE like she suggested and cloned it to make the item I wanted. Super easy compared to changing shaders!

What about this guy HERE. I liberated it and want to do some recolors but the title and description aren't working. I kept the Catalog & Definition...not sure where I'm messing up. Thanks

The game generates a thumb just like it does for all objects that come with the game. I find that removing the cc thumbs helps a bit with load time and satisfies my OCD to have everything look the same in catelog lol. Merging files can help too, there's options to do both in S4S under the tools menu. Hope this helps!

I'm trying to liberate some stuff and make some override recolors and wanted to add my creator name to the description but the description text stays the same as the original item. I tried using both the override and selective clone option to no avail.

This issue highlights the care you need to take when making an override.package. We'll take a look at changing how Studio deals with the addition of swatches using the 32-bit instance numbers EA uses so that this won't be an issue when adding swatches to an override .package. In the meantime, you can fix it by manually renumbering the swatch (object definition and object catalog resources). Has S4S been updated to correct this? If not, how exactly do we renumber these? Is it the key portion of the definition and catalog and do I use the hash generator? Sorry if this is a noob question

Yes, that was the tutorial I'm looking for Is that here still? I don't mean custom mattresses as in changing the mesh...but I'd like to change the stats on them and make varying degrees of of mattresses from least to more comfortable. Also I noticed there are some mattresses that are mapped differently so I was just going to separate those as well and incorporate them into my project. All without frames.
