You're welcome And for anyone else reading this with the same question you posted last, in order to make a standalone CC recolor that will work without the original you should click the Create 3D mesh button instead of the recolor or override buttons. If you click the override button the item will be an exact clone that replaces the original so your downloaders would only be able to have your recolor or the original in their game but not both at the same time. I opened the original package in S4S, I imported the dds files (recolor) overriting the existing texture, I saved the package ... I'm using the original saved package alone in game, without the original package and it work.

Actually, if you read the beginning of the tutorial there is a section that I have underlined to emphasize its importance. It reads: Please note that while this tutorial will create an item with its own unique standalone catalog entry it will not create an independently functional item. In order to show up in the game properly your recolor will need to have the original item in the Mods folder with it. If you plan to share the recolor you should provide a link back to the original item so the person downloading your recolor can get the original item too...otherwise your recolor will not work properly in their game.
It really doesn't matter where I write it...there will always be people who miss reading it. That's one reason we have a creator help section and a thread below the tutorial for questions. Thanks for replay, and sorry for my mistake... Edit: For a CC object recolor to keep the mesh inside I must use object "override" ? I wonder this because I found the wording of the "mesh included" in some recolor CC objects... (For personal use I would like to have a single package with mesh and mine recolor) Solved

Thanks for replay, I understood only after I read your answer of 7 June to vegkase. It could be better to write at the final of tutorial what you explain in the post because without that nowhere says that the original must be. your post: If you make a recolor of custom content you need to have the original.package that you cloned in the Sims 4/Mods folder with your recolor in order for your recolor to work properly in the game. Having it in the Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder is necessary for you to clone it but it won't make your recolor work in the game. (Or something similar as a warning)

"Sims 4 Studio respects the right of an artist to decide whether or not it is ok to share a recolor of their item"I want to recolor the Veranka objects (single booths) from here: veranka-s4cc.tumblr.com/post/145855162115/single-booths-as-many-people-requested-here-are Her therms of use are: Feel free to recolor/retexture anything but please do not include the mesh. Please credit with a link back to my blog or actual post
I respect that but I don’t know how to remove the mesh from my recolor package… I tried to find a tutorial for this... If there is a tutorial, please give me the link, if not, please give me the necessary step. I want to add this recolor to my restaurant EA furniture set recolor : www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=578895 Please help

Try to put the curtains first and the windows afyer that. (In this case delete the window, put the curtain and just afterwards put the window)
In my game is working...
I know that it is unusual ... but if it works, deserve to be tried ...

feyona can you made a tutorial for table like did you do for chairs ? Edit:
I solved the problem with the CC tables working for restaurant... thanks to Cinderellimouse who wrote: The only reason to update a table is to add the ability for sims to draw pictures. This requires specific slots to be added. The way I did this was by using Sims4Studio. I had a 1x1 sized custom table. So I cloned a Dine Out table of the same size. Then I exported the 'slot' and 'rig' files from the official table using the 'warehouse' tab in Sims4Studio ( click on rig and then Export from the bottom right of the S4S window. The same for slot) . Then I opened my cc table and imported the 'rig' and 'slot' files ( click on rig and then Import from the bottom right of the S4S window. The same for slot). Once you've exported the rig and slot files for a 1x1 table, you can easily just import these to every cc table you wish to update. The only thing to be careful of is that you are using a matching sized table (so for a 2x1 seater, you'd need the rig and slot files from an official 2x1 seater table). Doesn't matter which official table you use to obtains the rig and slot. And now I have all CC tables and chair working with Dine out.

Hi orangemittens! With the release of the new additions Dine Out, all the old custom chairs do not work in restaurants :-/. Do you have a solution to this problem? Is what I found on official forum: I posted here: sims4studio.com/post/51096/thread

I'm asking if the latest version of S4Studio can read a single package or merged of CC, that means that package is compatible with the latest patches and Dine out? I'm talking about objects (build/buy) not about hair and clothes.

Can someone to make a tutorial about how to change the CC chairs and CC tables to be compatible with Dine out ? This is what I found on the official forum (answer by SimGuruModSquad): "New slots have been added to tables to allow for colouring on placemats. You can fix cc tables quite easily by exporting the rig and slot binary files from an official table, and importing them to your cc table. You just have to match the right table size (eg 1x1 or 1x2). You should look at the Tag entries in the Catalog Product resource (0X319E4F1D). In this case the tag you are likely missing is 1006, which flags the item as a Dining Chair. Bar stools should be flagged as 1008. Another tag of relevance is 26625 which flags the object as a Restaurant Item so it appears in the catalog when that filter is applied." How can I use the batch manually for every hair, accesories, clothes ? I don't want the global CC batch for all gender. I would like to keep each coat, each CC from CAS for the gender for which it was created.
