you have to change change the prototype id under the catalog to the same number example object a prototype id under the catalog section is something like QQ57E616BAB0C8A5 ( do not use these numbers use one from your object) and object b is 5B8B08EF9763FFFE change every prototype id in each catalog section under each swatch to QQ57E616BAB0C8A5 if you have a bunch of swatches for object be its tedious but do able. Hi, and how can I find the prototype id of an original maxis item? I want to add the swatches in the same catalog entry by default, and not to create other new ones. Thank you!

Hi, it is possible to recolor the EA objects in itself? not cloning or creating another one, just replacing the textures the object has by default.

storiesofsims no yet, they told me it is a mesh problem but it happens with all meshes I import/export. I don't know.

Me and another creator have been having the same problem with objects in Apple Blossom. When I try and export any of the LODs (including the shadow meshes) it exports the non-shadow LOD0 mesh instead. Additionally, when importing meshes into LOD1 and LOD2 it doesn't update the preview properly. I was using Blender 2.70 and she was using 2.78. There are more details about the issue (including the file I was working on) in this thread: sims4studio.com/post/122795/threadI actually had a whole host of problems with the object I'm working on, such as the fact it slows down the game despite being low poly and the shadow won't import properly. I expect this is more to do with my mesh than Apple Blossom but I'm mentioning it here in case anyone else is having similar issues. I have the same problem long time ago

Hi!!
I am very close to finishing my first cc, but I have found some errors in s4s that do not allow me to continue.
I have no problems for the LOD 0, but afterwards I can not import the other LODs, nothing happens, the mesh does not change, or mysteriously the LOD0 changes itself, or the following error appears (I tried to add it to the s4s errors forum but I could not) :
I do not know what I'm doing wrong, can someone help me?

Hi jwofles, I used this from orangemittens tutorial: Introduction
This isn't really a tutorial per se but just blank bump and specular images suitable for importing into object .packages to overwrite EA's bump and specular. If the size I've included here isn't the same as what you need to overwrite you can simply resize it in your 2D editor before importing it.
What you will need

Hello good day. I am beginning to learn to create cc. I have chosen a base game dresser to change the textures and start playing with the bump and the specular. I changed them for the ones left by orangemittens in the forum. In the S4S viewer it looks perfect, but not in the game (especially inside a room). I leave you some captures and the package so you can see how some darker areas appear in the dresser. Captures

Thank you! So, I select all the mesh, go to edit mode+A and then... unwrap, right? but what of the 10 options? And, how I create a only dds archive for all LODs such as maxis´s one? Another question about this, once the mesh is unwraped, i go to bake option to bake oclusion, textures, normal, specular etc, right? Sooorry for this basics questions, there was becoming me crazy but i really want to learn Here are the blend and the package

Hello everyone. This is my first question as a creator with s4s, I hope I can explain myself well. Until now I've been learning by myself, but it is a Little confuse to me follow the tutorials in English, and now I have this counter and I don´t know how to continue. The mesh_1 is ok, but mesh_0 (the counter) I don´t know how to unwrapp the UV map for all meshes (or simply for this one). I've tried I think all the possible options, but, I really do not know how to do it. Can someone who usually creates kitchens explain their method to me? Thanks a lot!! and sorry for my bad English.
