Hey, The pictures are not showing for me, but I suspect that you're either talking about EA makeup or CC makeup. EA makeup: When you use composition method 0, only items with composition method 0 will show up on it. most EA makeup is made with composition method 1-3 so it will not work (this is just something you need to live with). CC makeup mostly comes with composition method 0. If CC makeup is not showing up, it probably comes down to the sort layer. change the sortlayer of your face skin to a low number (I use 200 for my skins, so for a face skin I would use a number a bit higher than 200. Not sure what other creators use these days but for compatibility with mermaid tails a low number is avised for body skins). Remus

I just want to say thank you for creating and maintaining the Sims4Studio!
It is the most essential resource for TS4 custom content creation and I want to thank everyone involved for their hard work!

Hi. For HQ mod to work as intended, all content (including maxis) you're going to use must be redone (textures must be resized). The person who used to do this for every pack left the community and the links are locked, so you'll have to find someone else. Someone else emerged! You'll find our up to date resource here: sims4hq.tumblr.com/files

The game patch that came with the highschool EP broke the basegame HQ files again. We set up a new resource with up to date files here: sims4hq.tumblr.com/files

In the end, I just changed the tuning of each item to the standard decor tuning ID 14961 and that fixed the issue. I don't know enough about tuning to understand the underlying issue though. All of the objects had tuning ID 77475 (object_plant_non_gardening_generic) although they weren't plants, so changing the tuning wasn't the worst idea anyway, but I don't think this was the actual issue.

I only noticed this thread now, so I'll refer to the post I made about patch-related cc issues earlier: LINK

Hey guys! I finally made my game work again after patching, after hours of hunting down corrupt files! Fortunately, the better exceptions mod was able to detect 62 out of 63 malfunctioning items in my mods folder and reported invalid tuning object_counter_2part_deco. I opened some of them in Sims4Studio and noticed that they were cloned from PlantPots (e.g. plantPotFloorGENPalm, plantPotTableSC, plantPotFloorCLBlossom, plantPotTableFCSunflowerPail). The items were created by several different creators. Apparently the tuning of some plant pots changed in one of the most recent patches which caused several objects that have been cloned from those pots to cause issues. This is just an educated guess though, the issue could also arise from something else. Issues: not being able to enter households, not being able to load saves and game crashes. An additional item was not cloned from a plant pot and not identified by better exceptions, but caused the game to crash as well (identified by 50:50 method): MDN Daer0n NSD outdoor set Grill Counter I hope there will be a batch fix for these items (if it is an issue that can be solved by batch fixing) as I truly miss them :c For anyone who likes to investigate the issue, here are the corrupt files that were in my mods folder: LINK

Don't worry one bit! In the meantime, lazyeyelids also published HQ replacements for the new pack: LINKI did not test them in game yet, but from a first look at the files, everything looks alright!

Hey! I just tried your HQ Replacement in the game and it did not work. To see what's the issue, I had a closer look at the files provided and noticed that your GP08s file contains the original RLE2image files (nonHQ) instead of the HQ RLES files. Maybe you uploaded the wrong GP08s file by accident?

I am using 3.1.2.4 and the batch export does export as RLEimage.dds (the issue adressed in the original post was fixed in the meantime). You can resize RLEimage.dds directly, all you need is a dds plugin for photoshop

Patching sims4studio to use 4 GB of virtual memory solved the issue for me. No crashes at all anymore. Get the 4GB patch here -> LINK

I just ran into the same issue and indeed, as soon as you accidentally choose Package once, it will export as package everytime.

orangemittens Thank you! I did pay attention to the type, it was my very first guess that I chose package by accident, so I tried both options and both resulted in .package. However, it might be that I accidentally chose .package once and then it didn't allow anything else anymore. In the end, only reinstalling S4S solved the issue. I can't really tell what caused the problem in the first place though but now everything is working as it should again! Sims4studio is simply amazing!

If you're working in dds format, check the alpha channel. In photoshop, you'll find the channels tab under windows->channels. My guess is that your alpha channel is slightly grey while only 100% white does not blend.
