I have another question regarding original meshes that we have permission to use. After using the 3D mesh option it worked, yay.
Question: I'd like to share the recolors I made but I want to make sure I'm not also including the original mesh in the download. Does the package files automatically include the mesh you used or just the textures you applied on the clone? Ugh, I'm not sure I'm making sense, I'm very new to making things.

heh, that always bothered me too that ghosts aren't scary it's sorta why I have never been interested in using them in a haunted house. But, if someone created an outfit or a polymorph, not sure if you can do that in the sims, that made a sim look like a ghost I guess you could make it scarier!

As I'm new to creating I make sure to read the artist TOS if I'm planning on recoloring or using a mesh made by someone else. However I am guilty of downloading things from people because I love how they put the lot together they are showcasing and I have honestly never thought about the objects I'm downloading might be stolen or re uploaded without permissions, not because I don't care but because I'm focused on the lot that's being presented and how it was put together. It's threads like this that make people aware, like myself.

I haven't experienced timouts but I have experienced lagging load times, those are intermittent. I am in Colorado, on a PC and DSL - I do have a full house also using devices though ;-|

Hey, thank you much for all the feedback, D4S and Orangemittens, very much appreciated. Yeah, that misty front is something I would want to avoid especially since I'm recoloring and using artists artwork.
MisterS - *jumps* around like a cheerleader , would be awesome if you found that file! Thank you.

Thank you for the heads up about vertex groups, Spirashun. I think I saw a round mirror, maybe I can try that first, either way, I will give it a try.

I'm also a "Blender Dummy" :D I was wondering, if I could use an maxis clock mesh then make it bigger in Blender and import it back as a round painting base? I didn't see any circular paintings in The Sims 4, if I'm wrong please let me know.

OMG! This thread is super awesome, I was looking in vain around the web for people who allow recolors for some paintings I'm doing.

Thank you. I have been reading the tutorials, I think part of the reason I felt to ask is because I'm having a hard time understanding the "blender language" as I am extremely new to understanding "how to" 3d objects and creating. I realize lot's of time has went into writing up tutorials for others, thank you.

I am just starting out with using Blender and Sims 4 Studio. So far I was able to use the nice painting meshes available in the studio for my recolors with no problem and I made a simple painting mesh in blender and colored it blue using the tutorials on this site, thank you! ( I am planning to share them very soon!) I am able to save the .blend mesh file to my computer but how can I import it into the Sims 4 Studio so I can use my own mesh for these recolors?
