Greetings. So I have made a mod (with help from the lovely MizoreYukii) that does that when children and teens go to school they automatically change into school uniforms. However, in order to do so I had to turn EA's official uniforms (the ones from Snow Escape) into CC so I could tag them accordingly to get them to work with the mod. Now I recently discovered that Shushu has a "Wear uniform" mod that seemingly work without any of the clothing having to be turned into CC first. I figured I could learn (by taking a look at his mod) on how to make so people could change the uniform at will as well as avoid having to add CC clothing package to the mod folder. Basically just allow people to use whatever EA clothing they want for the uniform. But the problem is that spite taking a look at how the script and package file works. I am WAY over my head in terms of the complicity the mod seems to be. I am still new to this whole modding, especially to coding. So I have no clue if what I want to do is even possible. Other problem is that I am a bit more of a tinker, I can change and alter things, but can't create things from scratch, which is a problem since coding has a signature based on the one coding apparently. Beside I don't want to do the "can I copy your homework if I alter it?" thing (unless I get permission of course but even so) Was wondering if anyone had any tips/guides or can explain if what I want to do is even possible and if so, how. Tried looking at python coding guides etc, afraid that stuff goes over my head

The only difference between the tuning in this .package and the one in the game is where you added the section for single. I believe the issue is that you either have not defined where to get that value or there is more to it in the python script that would require adjusting. Yeah I know. That's my issue tho, I don't know where to find that value or if that's a python matter. Like I mentioned engaged was easy to find the value/string for, but simply can't find "single"

Please share the .package you are working with so someone can look into it. The package is kind of a mess, decided to fool around, so text are incorrect, icons are incorrect. Tried different codes as well to try and find the single string. I can still share it, but everything will be incorrect, so not sure how that will help any. Greetings!
I am trying to make a club restriction mod that lets people select "Single" (a sim being single that is) either as a trait or under the "Martial Status" so only people who are single can join the club (hopefully engaged and boyfriend/girlfriend won't be added)
But I can't find the string, nor am I completely sure how to implement it. I managed to get the status "Engaged" to show up under "Martial Status" all working and with an icon, however, for some reason the "Married" status was missing. "Not Married" was still displayed. Not sure why, as so far I could see nothing was overwritten.
But anyways, the closest to the single string I could find was in "Sim Filter Tuning" as number "97444" I have looked from relationship bit tuning to single bar nights, etc. And I can't seem to find it, plus I am not even sure "97444" is correct as the "Married" named is "0xC252E69D" so those two are obviously different types of "codes"
I was hoping someone might know something? Bit at a loss here =/

hi! The thread for bug reports is only open to active users of the forum (with more than 50 posts) and cc creators that have a Creator Studios' page to avoid what's explained below. Once the Harmony version of Studio was stable the error report thread was closed to all but participating members of the forum. The thread was no longer functioning as an error report thread for the tool and instead had turned into the help desk for every person new to the tool who couldn't be bothered to read the first post in the thread (which lists solutions for the vast majority of errors that occur with Harmony). I have a job and I am also busy with my own creation projects. It got to be too much for me to deal with all the redundant questions, especially when 99.999% of those questions were coming from people who have never bothered to introduce themselves here, participate in any way here, or even say "hey thank you for helping me." We created Studio to share with a community of people who share back with us. We didn't create Studio to consign ourselves to five or six years of answering the same questions over and over from people who have no intention of participating here in our community. Hope you can understand the reason of this change. Yeah I can understand the reason. Just stings a bit that everyone will be generalised now, since some people can't figure out to read before posting. Oh well, guess I need to start posting :P Thanks for answering

I have sadly run into an error with Sims 4 Studio that I wanted to post under "Sims 4 Studio Bug & Error Reports " in the post "Error Reports for Community-tested Studio - Harmony
" But I can't comment or do anything beside searching and the post isn't locked. Am I missing something? I looked around, but couldn't find anything. I apologise if I missed a huge neon sign but I am in a half sate of panic/upset-ness over the error.

Edit: Seems like I found the issue and was able to fix it. But I would still like to know why I can not post.

Greetings.
I wanted to make a mod that switched the sims autonomously off for getting food when the hunger need is yellow (not red! They need to take food themselves if its in the red else we have issues LOL), but I am not sure how to achieve that. I found a file named "Action/loot_commodity_ Motive_Hunger_Famished and some values but I am not even sure if I am looking in the right place (Yes I am new, sorry :S)
The reason for this *mod/turning* is that once a sim hits the yellow bar in the hunger needs, the "Cancel action" war starts in order to stop them from taking food out of the fridge. They go yellow around 3-4 PM and won't do anything else but take food out of the fridge, which ruins the family dinner part. And yes I do feed them lol. The issue is more than while a sim is making dinner for the family everyone grabs food from the fridges and eats it unless I cancel it, which I do till the sim is done cooking. But its a lot of "cancel" if you got more than 2 sims. So I was wondering if anyone could help? I am not 100% sure it is possible to do this, but I figured I'll at least try.

I have updated my skin pack to support alpha hair and toddlers. Get them IN MY STUDIOThank you. The orange lines are now look-through, including through the model, but I am able to recognise the hair which was the goal

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I am incredible sorry if it is not.
But how do I find out if a pose is replacing an animation? Had a sim who would switch to 3 different poses just by reading a book and as far as I can see the creators of the poses very rarely states if it replaces animations or not. Is it just a tiresome case of having to download and then check it in-game?

... you can edit a custom skin, take the skin texture off of the hair section to get the alpha effect... S4S allows the use of custom skins and the default one does not have alpha enabled. This is why you are seeing the streaks. There is a tutorial on how to replace the default skin used by S4S HERE and a set of custom skins by me HERE. I have yet to update these to allow for alpha hairs but plan to soon. Thank you very much! Guess I have to wait till you have updated your skins as its only alpha hair that has the issue

THIS THREAD discusses the model viewer but refers to the same issue and a fix. Thank you very much for your link. Sadly I am not seeing any fix, if you are referring to what orangemittens is saying, then I am afraid I do not understand. I got no skin I am editing, nor can I select the model in the viewer and take her hair off or anything. Looked in "Tools" "Settings" clicked on the actual model in the viewer. I am having no options to switch anything on or off o.O

Greetings! I have been using Sims4studio for quite some time, I mainly use it to weed out CC hair in the game. But after the toddler patch (not this one) I noticed that some of the CC hair has viable opacity layer. Meaning that all the hair now has orange lines on the hair, making it very hard to recognise which hair is which. I usually go into the game, look through all the hair, find the ones I do not like. Go to sim studio "My CC" and find the hair there, but now I can't recognise it. Any where I can switch this off or something? Here's a picture of what I mean. Same for all kinds of hair colors.
