ibb.co/gNYfzHI've decided I just have too wacky of ideas. Just trying to create a pacifier for toddlers using Blender. Now it's got the uv maps all screwed up and also still has the shades even though I removed them...*sigh*

I want to create some custom decor objects in Blender then uploading to the Studio. I edit certain objects in Sims 4 Studio using Blender but building too far makes it not show up. For instance I was placing objects on a table, made it all one object and it didnt like it. Can I not create anything I want and put it in game? Or is it more complicated then that? Is there a tutorial for this? Scritping involved? Thank you

So I am trying to fix my old mods to work after the Pets patch. This error comes up. I try to look up those text lines but the ones I have access to only go up to like 63 whereas there is a line 653 that needs fixed etc. Any of you handy coders know what I can do to fix this? ty!

If I export the gallery thumbnail file for cats to edit in Blender a child appears instead of a cat. I am guessing this just isn't a feature yet for S4S? I can wait patiently lol

SO...yeah I am sure it isn't the first time everyone has heard of this. The patch just released has made the custom traits disappear. My problem unfortunately is that I used Zerbu's Mod Constructor and I don't imagine he will come out of retirement to fix everything. Can anyone explain how to fix the issue with it disappearing or perhaps show me how you make your traits so I can get my mods back for my 50,000 down loaders? lol mush appreciated!! Even a link to a tutorial would be fine. So sorry for the trouble!

There are many many files to the Sims 4 and I have read for hours. But I have yet to come across changes you can make to the price of items sold. I have seen changes to amounts of money given in a career but I want to find specifically the xml file that can change the price for the item sold. For instance, what if I wanted to change the price of a wildflower found in the wild to a much larger cash payout? Has anyone come across any of these files? Thanks in advance.

I recently got into xml modding. For my certain mod I wanted to change the amount of money a sim gets (details are vague so no one steals my idea lol sorry) I would just like to know where the xml files are located in order to change an amount of money. I am assuming they are located in the Data>Client files of the game. They aren't in the text strings (obviously) nor thumbnails and such etc. There are the files called "ClientDeltaBuild0" but I feel I will be here forever trying to find this part of the game. If anyone has any experience in a xml tuning they have done themselves that has to do with changing amounts of money please let me know. This will save me So much time! Thank you!

I recently uploaded my eye recolor and in a comment was asked if I could make the color possible with one or the other eye instead of both. The reason being, the color is presented as a blind eye with cataracts. Is there a possible way to recolor only one eye instead of both in Sims Studio or elsewhere?

Yes Warehouse sorry
I found the "create empty package" part of Sims 4 Studio. It doesn't allow me to import all the files at once. It will only look at one. I know i'm doing something silly, I have to be. I also found "trait tuning" when you choose to "add" something in Warehouse. Not sure if I should be adding "trait tuning" to each specific file until I have them all or if i'm looking at it all wrong.

I hadn't thought of that. Thank you Is there a way to get to the workshop without choosing to create something first? I'm not sure if it would conflict my files or not.

Whilst trying out Zerbu's Traits and Buffs application I came across a problem. When I am finished and I export my custom trait I am left with many xml, data, and STBL files. Now I know Zerbu mentioned he tried to provide a way to covert the files into one .Package file but said he had a rage quit. So my question is, how do I take these files and make them into one .package file? There has to be someone here who has created traits on their own or who knows a program I can use.

So I have figured it out and since there isn't any place it has been posted in existence I have decided to share my discovery. When using Sim's 4 Studio select to override an animation. If your chosen pose was a female pose, choose a_portraitThumbnail_female_01_x. The other packages to override are also there. Edit to your hearts content! I have to admit that I doubted my ability to find this out for myself but once I did it was such a simple fix! Thank you for your kind words! Hi to anyone in the future reading this who also wants to make Gallery Poses. XoXoX
