Toonces As the team has stated (if that isn't different now), none of them are MAC users. Yet, they've managed to deliver a working tool that is on its beta stage. I don't think that requesting such thing would take you anywhere. I'm completely clueless as far as coding goes so i'm pretty sure that the differences between windows and MAC are pretty considerable. The windows version didn't appear out of thin air, it required a lot of time and power will to create so prioritizing what's known to them should be understood. I'm well aware that some mac users have partitions (i've never in my life used a mac) to use s4s. So either that's an option, wait and be considerate to the creators or choose another program that suits you better. I apologize if I sounded impatient or ungrateful for what has already been done - that wasn't my intent at all.

Don't mean to pester the folks who have been working on Appletini... but are there any plans to add Objects too? I realize the overall program is in development - and I don't mean to sound ungrateful for the work that has already been done, as I imagine it takes a lot of time (and patience!) to get it all working correctly. I'm asking because some folks have mentioned that relatively few people are working on Appletini (because overall, most folks seem to use PCs for their Sims stuff). I couldn't really tell if that meant that Objects will be a total no-go in the foreseeable future or what.
And seriously, it's been cool to finally be able to make my own CC. Throw together some shirts with my face all over 'em? Hell yeah! ;-)

Welcome Toonces (great nick!) it's good to see Appletini custom content creators, I haven't tried The Sims on my Apple Mac laptop yet. I'm glad you were able to run the batch fixes and are getting comfortable with using the program, it's really both a godsend and a fun "easel plaything" :D as I'm sure you'll find. I sketch often too though most is on paper and/or canvas, and a few through Photoshop, but never tried apps - do you use it on a tablet/pad/cellphone? When I'm using drawing apps like French Girls or DrawSomething/DS2, I'm usually on an iPad mini. The regular iPads get a bit heavy/awkward to use after a while, but my sausage fingers tend to make drawing on a phone/iPod difficult. I like the mini because it's just about the size of a smallish notebook. :-)

Hey hey, everyone! My name is Michelle, and I go by Whistlebinky here (and on Instagram), but I also sometimes go by Toonces (a screen name I've been using for 20+ years, but alas, can't always snag the name when I sign up for message boards and whatnot *le pout*). I'm Toonces over on TSR... so if I sign off any posts/messages here with that screen name, that's why. Basically, I can't always keep track of what name I'm using where. I'd like to blame it on being "old," but I've been like this for ages... ;-) Just wanted to add that I've discovered that I can change my display name here - yay! I figure it'd just be easier for anyone who might visit here and TSR to be able to find me by the one name (though it won't bother me to be referred to as Whistlebinky). 😊

Honestly, I wish I'd tried Sims 4 Studio sooner! I always assumed making custom content was too difficult and fiddly for me, but this program just makes everything so much easier! Very cool stuff! The walls definitely have a retro vibe, which I'm betting will go well with the new Bowling pack. :-) I'm only just starting out with S4S too (the Mac version, so I can't edit objects yet *le pout*). I've mainly been trying to do simple recolors at the moment, trying to figure out the best way to work things in Photoshop so that I can go back and do more versions easily, that kind of thing. It's been a while since I've worked with layers and whatnot, so I gotta shake out the cobwebs in my brain. ;-) And then there's getting the hang of the little details of S4S, like making appropriate swatch thumbnails, and making sure the category/color settings are right for what I'm doing. I'm not exactly reinventing the wheel (yet), but I'll eventually share my stuff for others to download. I figure there's bound to be somebody out in there who might want it for their game, even if it's because they don't feel like recoloring stuff themselves.

Hey hey, everyone! I'd like to blame it on being "old," but I've been like this for ages... ;-)
Anyway, I've been playing The Sims on and off since the summer of 2000. I made CC for TS1 and TS2, but nothing elaborate - mostly just recolors and the like. By the time I got around to playing TS3, I was using a Mac. I can't remember if there was anything available for making CC with a Mac then but it didn't matter much, due to all the in-game customization that was already available. Unfortunately, I stopped playing TS3 because it too *forever* to load the game (and then there were all the in-game loading screens, etc.). I didn't start playing TS4 until last April, but I had gone months without really playing or even checking out the forums due to life "stuff".... and because I was trying to organize the ridiculous amount of CC I had downloaded in a relatively short time. ;-) I only just discovered that the Appletini/Mac version of S4S was available, and I'm quite happy to see it. I've already made a few CC items to try to figure things out... and I was able to run some batch fixes that saved me from having to re-download a bunch of stuff. I'm hoping that at some point, the ability to mod objects will also be available with Appletini (or even just to see the Custom Content I do have, without starting an individual project).... but I don't want to sound ungrateful for the hard work that folks have put into the current Mac S4S option.
Hrmmm... what else? I live in MA with my hubs and two kitties, Lenny & Linus. I have a BFA in Illustration & Graphic Design, I like to knit, and when I'm feeling particularly artsy, I like to draw people. I've been using the "FrenchGirls" app for a couple of years (though it's been quite a while since my last draw there), and before that I was drawing on the DrawSomething2 app. One of my favorite aspects of art apps like those is the communities that evolve around them... and that's part of the reason I'm drawn to The Sims games as well. While I've pretty much been a long-time lurker, it's nice to see some familiar names, even after all these years! :-)

Just wanted to chime in on this thread to give a big thank you for the folks who put together a Mac version of Sims4Studio! I've been using the various Sims games on and off since 2000, but haven't made my own CC for *ages* because we switched over to Macs in the house years ago (I think a bit before Sims 3, but since that had so much in-game customization, it didn't bother me as much... but then I had problems getting the game to run at all, so I hadn't thought about CC at all for a long time).
Anyway, I only just got into playing TS4 last April, which is when I realized I wouldn't be able to mod my own stuff... but then a few days ago, I happened to notice the "Appletini" version of S4S was available. Even though I'm only to make very basic stuff, it's great to finally be able to do that - and also to be able to run the batch fixes on other CC items I download. So thanks again, your efforts are much appreciated! :D
