Custom Food Tutorial 3 (Add Leniad’s Snippets, to get food in game)
The food you add to your game with Leniad/Andrew’s crafting mod will show up on a pie menu when you click on the refrigerator, with options like Desserts/Cakes, Snacks, etc. And I will show you in this tutorial how to add the snippet to your game. Here we go! After You have opened the file, fixed your recipe tunings (as shown in the first food tutorial), added your names to the String Table (as shown in the second food tutorial), you can add Leniad’s snippet to get the food in the game – or make a custom stove to add your food to the game (I can show you in a different tutorial, if wanted). What I do to get the food in game, is to export the desired snippet from Leniad’s food -whether it is a for cakes, snacks, etc. – I will show you here how it’s done: 1. Batch Export (Leniad’s Creations) It will say batch export as one of the options in Leniad’s food, save to a place where you will easily find it. 2. Batch Import
There is another option to “Batch Import”, click on this and add Leniad’s Snippet Tuning file. 3. Customize The Snippet To Your Food Go to your Recipe Tuning – to the the Multi Serving Recipe Tuning. Copy the recipe tuning name, in my case: laurenbell:laurenbell:recipe_Food_BakingSkill_HoneyBreadLoaf_Multi And the Recipe Tuning number : 9969870261496297832 Add it in the place of Leniad’s tuning Id and name it will look like this, in my case: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <I s="15775470098918347300" n="laurenbell:laurenbell:FoodEnablerSnackCookie-HoneyBreadLoaf" c="CCRecipeInstance" i="snippet" m="s4studio_craftables"> <T n="s4s_mod_type">RECIPE</T> <L n="recipe_interactions"> <T>15145280413368834592<!--Leniad:fridge_Cook_PieMenu_Snacks--></T> </L> <L n="recipe_list"> <T>9969870261496297832<!--laurenbell:laurenbell:recipe_Food_BakingSkill_HoneyBreadLoaf_Multi--></T> </L> </I> 3. Change The Name In The Snippet Tuning Data
Add your name, and your food’s name to the end of the Snippet Tuning ‘name’: In my case, it looked like this: laurenbell:laurenbell:FoodEnablerSnackBread-HoneyBreadLoaf As you can see, I also added ‘Bread to the snack part, instead of cupcake, or cookie. Also, you will need to remember to put your name as it is done there with the ‘:’ so it changes the tuning number. 4. Now we will hash the name for the ‘Instance Number’
This is how it’s done in my case, I hashed in the generator: LaurenbellFoodEnablerLaurenbellHoneyBreadLoaf So it is: NameFoodEnablerNameFoodName Take the generated hex number, in my case it is: D4AABBC9 Add it to the instance number in the Snippet Tuning. Voila! We are done! Your item should show up in the pie menu now.
P.S Just a warning, sometimes you need to save the snippet in your file, exit, and reopen it before you fill it out, because it will automatically clear and still have the other information in it. Close, open, and then fill it out. It will work then. Hope you all enjoyed the tutorial and that it was easy to follow along.

Custom Food Tutorial # 2(Add Names To String Tables)
I am not sure where to post tutorials, I may have to move this. This is a tutorial about how to add String Tables to your food custom content.
As requested, here is a the next tutorial for making custom food – the String Tables (making your food’s name appear in the game) Also, the next tutorial will be coming soon about how to had Leniad’s snippet. I apologize for the wait. This can be a little confusing, but with repetition it will become more easy!
On both of your recipes tunings (Single and Multi) is a place to modify your String Table names – it is toward the bottom of the recipe. Essentially, it will be there on any recipe tuning. It should look like this:
<T n="name">0x515910F9<!-- Laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name--></T> <T n="phase_interaction_name">0x7E79A4C2<!--Bake Bread--></T> What you will need to do to modify this to name your craft’s name is this:
1. Changing String Table Names (Hashing the name)
Open the hash generator: What you will need to put is your name, your food’s name, and the word name like this –name. Do this for both recipe tunings – identically. It will look something like this: Laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name
2. Changing String Table (Putting it in the correct place)
It should look like this when it is in the correct place: <T n="name">0x515910F9<!-- Laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name--></T>
3. Modifying the numbers (Putting in FV32 hex number in the correct place)
You will need to put the hex decimal number in the place of the other number – in the line you added your string table. In my case, it looks like this:
3B4D936C
(that is the Laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf hash hex number)
You will need to put it here, keep the 0x, it will look like this:
<T n="name">0x3B4D936C<!-- Laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name--></T> 3. Adding it to string tables (the little flag icons) A. Click on the flag of your choosing – and then click edit. There is an option to ‘add’ click the add button and add the hex number without the 0x. In this case it would be ‘3B4D936C’ – add it in the first slot.
.B Add the name of your food, in my case, it was ‘Honey Bread Loaf.’
4. Adding the next hash (as we did in laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name) A.
Let’s make the next hash for your food’s name –this one we will be adding the ‘bake option’ It will need to look like this, in my case (laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name-bake).
B. Adding it to the Recipe tuning.
Just like in the first case, you will be adding it to your recipe tuning. It will look like this:
(Like this) <T n="phase_interaction_name">0x7E79A4C2<!--Bake Bread-->
(To this)
<T n="phase_interaction_name">0x7E79A4C2<!—laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name-bake-->
C. (Adding the hex number again)
Add the hex number of your hash, keep the 0x (as before) In my case it was: 8337F3CA
It will look like this:
<T n="phase_interaction_name">0x 8337F3CA <!—laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name-bake-->
D. Add it to your string table (one again click the flag, and add – add your hex number – and then put in the next column ‘Bake (your food name), in my case ‘Bake Honey Bread Loaf.’
5. Let’s add the last String Table Hash (Serve)
A. Hash the next string table , in my case: laurenbell:HoneyBreadLoaf-name-serving
B. Add it to the String Table (flag) click add, put the generated hex into the first column, then add your text. It should say something like this, in my case, ‘Serve Honey Bread Loaf.’
Save. Voila, we are done for now!
