Hi there! I used this tutorial to recategorize a console table (Superior Mission Foyer Table) into a desk, but I can't place a computer on it. Any advice?

kaylamae11 This method can only re-categorize an object to make it shows in a different place on the catalog when you are browsing, it does not change the object behavior, for example, I re-categorized all my books clutter to Storage/Bookshelf so I can find them more easily, but to make it act like a bookshelf that can actually stores books, I have to change the tunning ID of it to the same of the bookshelf, the tuning ID is found in the Warehouse Tab/Object Definition. Also to make object to snap to a place on your desk may require the mapping of a slot on its, I have never done it before but orangemittens is a slot master you can find those tutorials of hers to see if it fits your need.

How do I put a column in the column section? I selected "column" under the build menu but it's not there and I can't find it anywhere. I'm using Candy Apple and I've noticed that the category system is really messed up.

Hey, so I am trying to categorize things like objects, clothes, etc... however every time I go back into the game it is like all of the work I put in is gone. I click 'Apply to Swatches' and the 'Save'.

Hello! Where can I find a complete list of object categories for the items in the game? I do not speak English well, so it is difficult for me to navigate when assigning a category to an item.

I'm brand new at this and just installed Sims 4 Studio. I understand how to change the category an object is in. Can I change the category for game objects (not just custom content)? Where would I find those objects?
Also, can I change the name of an object? Example: Julia Work Toyota. I would change it to Toyota Car or Toyota Vehicle. That way a search would easily locate it. Right now there's things I have to first filter content, then scroll, scroll, scroll and finally locate it. (I would also make sure it's in the Transportation category.)
Last question! Can you give DEBUG objects a name? Can you put them in categories?
Thank you so much!

Is there a way to make this with the maxis objects without turning every object into "custom content"?

Is there a way to make this with the maxis objects without turning every object into "custom content"? Unfortunately not, as it changes the Object Catalog and any changes to that file is seen as CC.
