Each piece of clothing that you work with is different. The UV might be different or similar. You need to see what each part of the UV belongs to what part of the clothing piece and study how to re arrange all the pieces to the best possible way in each case. For example, what you're seeing mapped in the extra parts by default is the bottom rim of the jacket. That doesn't require a big space at all since it's only seen from below. So you can select all that part, resize it and squeeze it elsewhere between the first arm and the collar. And then place the jacket on that part. EVERY TIME you modify a an UV you'll HAVE TO modify the texture as well to match these modifications. I'm noticing from the package that you cloned the top remained working on that package by only modifying the category. This isn't how accessories work. You have to clone an accessory, export it's mesh and append only the clothing pieces to the blend. Accessories don't have body parts. This will also fix the fact that the top you picked doesn't use a shirt that is painted onto the skin, it's a mesh on it's own. So you can't "delete" its texture only. You need to delete the shirt mesh as well. I suggest you read more about how to properly work with accessories: - Appending meshes (up to 11) - Jacket accessory tutorial.
