Hi panuts, the reason the image is looking stretched and losing quality is because you are resizing it to fill the entire image space rather than filling the image space with multiple copies of the image. To make this the easiest way create a new blank image that is 256 x 1280. Paste your seashell image onto that image as it is. Line the top edge of the seashell image up so it matches the top edge of the blank image. It will completely fill the width but it will not completely fill the height. To get around that just paste your seashell image onto your 256 x 1280 image again and move that into place so it lines up directly below the first one you pasted. Repeat that until the whole 256 x 1280 image is covered by your seashell image. Merge all of those layers into a single layer. Now prepare to do the next size wall by creating a new blank image that is 256 x 1024. Copy the image from your 256 x 1280 size and paste it onto the 256 x 1024 size image. It will be too tall so line the bottom of your seashell image that you're pasting up with the bottom of the 256 x 1024 image. Part of the top will not show up on your new shorter image but that's ok. Now prepare to create your smallest wall size by making a new blank image that is 256 x 768. Again, paste a copy of your tallest image onto this one and line up the bottom of your seashells with the bottom of the blank image. Just as before a portion of the seashell image you're pasting won't fit onto this shorter new image but this is ok. Now that all three wall images are made you need to resize them to EA heights. First take the 256 x 1280 size image and resize it to 256 x 1024. Next take the 256 x 1024 size image and resize it to 256 x 512. Last take the 256 x 768 size image and resize it to 256 x 512. Import the image you resized to 256 x 1024 to replace the tall wall in Studio. Import the image that was 256 x 1024 and is now 256 x 512 so it replaces the medium sized wall. Last import the image that was 256 x 768 that you resized to 256 x 512 so that it replaces the short wall in Studio. Save the .package and check it in the game. If you run into more questions or I haven't given enough information please post again

Hi Panuts, the line is occurring because when you made the first wall you didn't have the seashell image quite lined up all the way on the left side. If you zoom into your image really close you can see all down the left side there is a white line there as a result: The easiest way to fix this is to use the steps I posted above again but this time when you paste each of the seashell images onto your new image make sure that the entire area is covered by your seashells. Because the seashells image is a pale color it may help make it more visually obvious that you have things lined up right if you make the background of your new image black or dark blue before pasting your seashells on. After pasting it zoom all the way up close to make sure it's covering the image from one side to the other. The seashells image you sent is exactly 256 px wide so it should exactly fit on the new blank image you make to put it on.

Orangemittens I made two other pattern walls and they worked out fine. I did them the same way you told me. Please take a look and let me know what you think. 1drv.ms/1KCZpb6 1drv.ms/1KCZsDG I will remake that one that gave me problems. Thank you.

I took a look at the walls in Studio and they look very nice to me panuts. A great place to get feedback on new things is the Creator Discussion and Feedback section. Unless they have a question most people don't look in the tutorial threads but other creators do check that section so it's a good place to get opinions and share tips.

I want to place a new layer on top of the basic dark walls to create a new set. how do I get all the original colors to show up so I can export the thumbnails without creating a new package file for each of the EA original walls? I am using the Joy version.

Well I got the images exported by over-writing the package file each time, but that was very tedious. I wondering if the newest version of S4S shows all the textures for the wall at one time?

Hi dini60, Studio doesn't have this feature implemented for build items. I will put it on the list of features to add

BTW I did manage to export all the Basic Standard, Dark and Pastel walls.

You're welcome. That's a lot of walls. I can understand why batch export is a desirable feature for walls.

I was wondering if the Outdoor Retreat walls are available in S4Studio? I tried looking for the vertical plank in the latest version (2.6.0.8.), and it seems it's not there. Other SP walls are there though, like Spa Day's tiles. Also, is it possible to make default replacement walls? The shininess of the Outdoor Retreat vertical plank walls really bothers me, so I wanted to make a matte replacement.
