I know that counters from Peacemaker IC/Simsational Designs are buggy. I tried two different houses with them and each time the sim would reset when grabbing a plate of food from them. Same with Around the Sims 4 and Madhox (MTS - ww.modthesims.info/download.php?t=586229 for example) counters. Hope this helps.

Hey I have a problem involving object shadows and Im not sure where to go to fix it. My cc was fine before the update and suddenly now they all have strange shadows. You can check my package for the offending problem: here I created this before the pets patch, HOWEVER, after the patch with a fully updated Sims Studio, I tried cloning a different item and reimporting the mesh and texture. Same problem. Here's some pics of what I'm talking about orangemittens andrew Could you guys shine some light on this? it is happening to a lot of my cc. Also, Batch fixing did not completely fix the couch issues. Some disappear when placing down.

BROKENSims, I've downloaded the package, and I will take a look. Do you have an example or two of the couches that still disappear after running the batch fix? If so, can you PM them to me?
General message to anyone still experiencing issues with items after the patch: Please let us know what items are still not working so they can be batch-fixed. When reporting, please provide an example item that has the problem. It's fine to PM that to me rather than posting it in the thread. We need examples of what's not working so these things can be fixed.
Issues that will be batch-fixed in the next version of Studio include: CAS garments that are borking on larger Sims, round 6-seat dining tables. We don't need examples of these.
Items that have been reported as needing a batch-fix that we still need examples for: toilets, counters, beds and sofas that resist the existing batch-fix, park benches and bathtubs. If you don't have an item like this yourself, please spread the word around so someone who does knows we need an example.

I cloned the Comfy Crafter bed to separate the mattress and when I use it in-game cats will jump onto it but float like a foot off the bed as well as any gifts or feathers that they leave. I batch fixed all my beds and a user is reporting the same issue. Here is the file: simfileshare.net/download/368012/EDIT: Someone referred me to a post by peacemaker on tumblr, it looks like this is determined by the footprint bounds for the object, which is detecting the highest point on the mesh which would be the pillows. I fixed it by changing the second 'max' value for both footprints to 0.56198 (the height of the mattress part) and it fixed the problem for me.

myrrah , did you have any other last exceptions at the time you had this problem? The one that you posted seems to be related to the sim trying to use the tablet to research vampires. There have also been reports of CC counters, outdoor seating, and toilets that are not working. We will need examples of these items in order to batch fix them. The same goes for any beds, sofas, or loveseats that could not be fixed with the batch fix. i had reels of them 0.0 they were popping up so fast my game eventually crashed so it was really hard to decipher pages and pages of stuff and try to figure out if they were separate issues or if one led into another. But yes-i did locate the tablet and spent the next day just watching and then reading the error reports and taking out and putting in different things until i got it all taken care of. i was confused because someone was obsessively trying to pick up the stuck tablet at the same time i told someone to pick up a pet and the "sit on anything (including the robot vacuum-making me think it was the kitten) threw me. From what deaderpool indicated it was a combination of things which is why it was so confusing. Ea errors, cc errors, and settings in mccc that have now been addressed. So it must be only certain cc furniture because the pets are using the ones i have with no problems. in all my houses now-No errors and they are made mostly of cc. The only one left is in a house where i used the "top bunk" toddler mattress. That seems to be causing errors but not a game breaker. Thank you so much for the response. it's very much appreciated

LuvMySimz, I've edited the list to add bathtubs. enzap3, I have received an example item that causes odd shadows. It isn't clear yet if shadow problems are all related to the same issue or not. It will be investigated. BrazenLotus, thank you for letting me know. The number is determined how EA was determining it pre-pets. Since that is obviously not working post-pets, it can be updated for the new expansion. I really appreciate that you took your time to post myrrah, in reading your post it seems that all is well in your game now but I cannot be sure. If things are working, I'm glad to hear it, and if they aren't, could you send an example of an item that is still causing problems. On a side note, there was a lot changed in this patch, so if we have to rebuild the discovery wheel for every single thing, it will take longer to get everything up and running than it would if people notified us when they find something. I believe that it's in players' and creators' best interest if things that can be batch-fixed have a batch-fix rather than every creator having to hand-edit things in the Warehouse and every player having to go around to see who has updated their things and who has not. If you've found some glitch that is amenable to batch-fixing, please let us know, we're happy to add it so everyone can get back to playing a game that looks/works how it should

I'll make sure the toddler mattress is what's causing the errors and send that if it is. Bathtubs may be an issue as you mentioned. They'll walk past bathrooms with cc tubs to give them a bath in an ea tub on a different floor. I'll be more insistent about it to see for sure. But it seems so random for each person/cc item. One cc tub works, another doesn't seem to. Or something works in one persons game but not anothers. (The game itself is like that even without cc or mods). Like someone mentioned Madhox's counters but i use those in one house and they are working. So i don't know how you guys do it-trying to figure out if something is actually borked or if it's some sort of conflict with other cc/mods or is something to do with the persons system/game installation would be complicated seems like :S edit: i stuck all my cc tubs out in the lawn and tested them. They all work. So i can't give you any examples of tubs not working. Toddler mattress-either bottom or top bunk-the cat won't go on it, but it doesn't cause any errors or glitching (errors turned out to be unrelated). Just cancels out (which doesn't seem like a problem). i haven't had any problems with counters yet.

Hi I was having a problem, the sofas and chairs wasn't working, then, I used the batch fix for the cats and dogs pack. So, the problem is gone, but i had like more than 20 sofas and now less than half of then appear in my game. I already copied the cc from the "Failed" folder but they still don't appear :( Help me, I really love these couches :'(

I have been having problems with my custom content beds. They let me place them but when i do they disappear and take my money. Is there a cheat code to fix this or has no one else had this problem?

Well I don't know if this issue I have with counters should be posted here. But I thought to mention it because it has to do with pets. Today I realized that the family cat doesn't jump the cc counters (recolors) I have placed in the main household. I had noticed a few days ago that when there was food on them, the cat would just stay on the floor like stuck staring at the counter, and would a bit later jump on the table if the food dishes were set there by other sims. But today when a took the family on a vacation to Granite Falls suddenly the cat was all over the counters in the rental house (really the damn kitty wouldn't stop jumping on them a single minute! Even when there wasn't food she was up there! lol) I went to check in buy mode to be sure and of course the counters in the house were maxis original. It seems like I'm not the only one with the shadow issue. I suspect they changed something with the shaders? Or AO (Ambient Occlusion?) I hope it can be fixed because that backdrop was a precious work of mine xD.

I'm not sure if this is related to the CAS meshes distorting issue mentioned earlier in the thread or if it's a separate problem, but after the new patch(es) long CC shirts on male sims have started to clip below their stomachs. It doesn't even take the body sliders to be maxed for it to happen, but the bigger the sim the more bad it is. At first I thought it was just this one CC shirt, but turns out a lot of long shirts have this problem. Any idea how that could be fixed or if it's something could be made fixable via a batch fix?
