If that entire red band is all assigned to the left skirt then there is something going wrong with the weighting of this skirt. The easiest way to get correct weights on a new skirt is to transfer the weight from some other skirt using Brujah's tutorial. The problem is though, that if this is a brand new mesh, it won't have a second UV and without that it will not work correctly in the game. If you are brand new to making things for Sims 4 you might be better off trying to first make edits to an existing mesh until you've had a chance to work with Sims 4 items and get to know how they work.

OMG you are my lifesaver Orangemittens! Thank you so so much! I had 2 vertex groups in my blend file. Now I´m happy with my new mesh. That's exactly what I searching for my problem. I also try out a lot of themselves and have already learned a lot here. It´s the best forum und tool for Sims 4 cc! Thank you so much for all your hard work and answering questions we have. I found all my answers here in the forum and that´s amazing! :D

Can you help me on this one?
The model is all set for use, but I can't get it right on the head of the character, I do belive it's because I didn't lock the helmet to the head... do you know what I can do to fix it?

Hi markfett , please post .blend and .package. Most likely it's a weight issue, or vertex paint issue. But there is no way to identify it by watching video.

I am having an issue where there is nothing in the vertex groups... I am converting a hat mesh that is sims 3 cc. I also only have one UV map and I am not sure how to get UV 0 and UV 1... I am a newbie. I normally just make poses haha!
