I got tired of my teens looking like adults. so I shrunk the adults down to teenage size, now I need to get them into a package, I was going to use the override version of cas but I am thinking (because I dont want to override all of my adults and young adults too) that I should instead use the new mesh option or would a cas stand alone be better. what do you think? I really dont know why EA made adult height teenagers for sims 4, with all the morphs and IK parameters it really should not have been that difficult. I want to eventually get them into XML and actually override all the teenage bodies in my game if possible. I just need the package to view it in create a sim and see if things like hair float. update: I went to separate the mesh into pieces but once I did all the parts reverted to normal head, bottoms, top, teeth, feet all went back to adult shape. so then I shrunk the parts but once I did that I had a hard time trying to get them back onto the rig. I can get all the parts to move but the face like the eyelids distort when trying to move them. what can I do?

I know there is a scale object cheat I am pretty sure its possible to use the XML to scale all teen sims to an exact size along with all clothing etc. on pc its shift + ] in game. it might be a better alternative than scaling the mesh and rig (that I already did) manually in blender with much cleaner results. I am going to work on this theory with a little help from fellow creators to see if we can get a working package to override just teens on the game to do this.
after putting them in packages and adding them to my game using the first method, all the sizes returned to default ea. in create a sim its like they were exactly as they were before being modified.

Hi! I'm not really sure what "mesh" is it that you're importing.. have you tried using the height mod? Download the stable version and test it out. I tried reading the latest comments and i can't find anything about being updated for pets or any issues about it. So try doing a back up of your saves and moving your mods elsewhere while you test it out.

I agree! Teenagers should not look like adults! I use a height slider, though be warned, it causes some animations to look funny, so pictures and videos might be an issue! It's not that bad, though!

I agree! Teenagers should not look like adults! I use a height slider, though be warned, it causes some animations to look funny, so pictures and videos might be an issue! It's not that bad, though! but you would have to change the height manually for every single teen wouldnt you and wouldn't that deform the rest of their bodies aka dwarves? I am talking about an automatic override to make all teens and only teens one size and smaller than the adult by what you see above. (they would still use the same bones but the bones would be scaled too) since any mesh altered automatically takes on the adult shape on the inside they could still wear all the clothes from the same inventory selection as before. inabadromance, I used the same bodies extracted with the studio here the game came with for adults and scaled them down in blender. but that only works for blender, not much use in game without knowing coding. but I think having all teens one size should reduce how many animations look funny as other teens are the same. I think eventually someone will figure it out, but in the meantime figure out which animations look funny, because I think there could be a batch fix by adjusting teens using IK slot referencing in animations. if the hand no matter what height adjusts the animated sim to grab food from fridge at the same location as everyone else, as an example it can be applied to other items as well. if to faces lets say for a kiss use mouth slots to adjust animations automatically no matter what height difference etc. I know... lots of work. I wish EA would just do it already I dont know why they skipped it when they introduced the teens pack. the way sims 4 is set up it really would be simple for those who build the program to do this. since they already know what files need to be changed and how to change them. I recently animated a couple dancing, and I thought, wouldn't it be nice if daddy could teach his teenage daughter to dance. but seeing as how she looks like an adult she probly already knows how. ha ha.

I'm pretty sure an override isn't possible. Yes, you'd have to change the height for each teenager, but that's really not a big deal. XD I'm not sure what you mean by "deform the rest of their body" either. o_O They look like regular adult sims, just smaller.

the mod I linked has automatic height for teens and npcs. I will have to give it a shot after I finish my latest project. right now my hood has only a test family and an empty mods folder (to avoid conflicts while testing custom animated objects that have not completely been animated yet. making progress just spend 8 hours entering in 44 bones to each LOD Model (4) component in S4S thats a lot of numbers.... I hate math. I think I will need to decimate the meshes using that tutorial I bookmarked after its done the poly count is going to be gigantic if I dont.

the mod I linked has automatic height for teens and npcs. I downloaded it and put it in my mods folder, followed with a last exemption. something is wrong with the script. I decided to quit without saving. as I rather not have conflicts. I really was hoping to get the gradual growth, I think that would be cool. but I dont think that will work as it is. someone said something about batch fixing but since it was updated after the patch, I didn't think I needed it. I ended up downloading the second and only using the toddler fix one that was explained in the comments but this means only teens and up can be morphed and its just the height, no gradual, no townies and only in CAS one at a time. I thought about going through the pains taking process of the first but I am not going to 5 different posts and collecting specific files from each in a specific order just do get the effect i want. hopefully someone will come up with an all in one update for the UI gradual growth for all ages that are playable + random townie seems this version isn't playable other. no last exeptions, but have not been able to save the game since. tried removing my mods folder and still had it happen, so I just "repaired" the game and am trying to get it to work again.

Hello, could you tell me how you imported the sim models into blender from sims 4 studio to adjusting the heights?
Thank you

I was searching some teenager clothes until I found this post pretty similar. Here is my render below. I was told from my Blender members scaling a model as age perspective isn't realistic.
