Thanks for this tutorial orangemittens, with it finally I could separate the leatherbiker full body outfit into a top and a bottom. I dunno if I should upload it though, maybe someone already did something like this before.

hello I have small problem. I'm trying to separate skirt from outfit that came with Get Together but base game skirt I used as a base to replace it has more mesh groups (4) than GT outfit (3). My second problem is this: link . As you can see on the photo, s4studio_mesh_3 consists of top (which I want to get rid off) and skirt. Is there any way to separate skirt from that top? And what should I do with mesh groups? Is it okay that base mesh has more than outfit?

Hi mallmarr, if you are working with a GT garment you should use a GT garment as the base for it. Otherwise you are converting a GT item for base game compatibility and Studio forums does not support that. If you're looking for a skirt from GT with the same number of groups as the outfit that you've shown the short buttons skirt has 3 mesh groups.

Thank you so much for your answear and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make this skirt base game compatibile. I was just looking for as similar skirt as possible. But how can I remove this top if it is located in the same mesh group as skirt?

You would need to remove the vertices of the top.
