now, I uninstalled the last Driver-update and go back to a older driver: 17.11.4 and the studio is running fine...but, this can't be the solution?! AMD-cards needs always the newest driver, otherwise the sims 4-game runnig bad...( not yet but in the early future ) sorry, I'm german, hope evrybody understand what I like to say... So reverting the driver fixed S4S but it makes your game worse? I just want to make sure I understand you. Your English is better than some native speakers.

I just want to point this out, since rolling back did work for me as well. You do not need to uninstall your driver. Download and install 17.11.4. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to use this version or the current version. Choose the 17.11.4 version and you're good to go. I was dreading uninstalling my driver again and wanted to try without. Sims4Studio does work again. I haven't gone in-game yet, so I don't know how the game runs. I only did this to get S4S to work again.

Since the amd issue doesn't seem to be on s4s side, it might benefit those of us affected for each to put in a report to AMD. As I did research, this particular DLL file is causing issues with some games and it really shouldn't be affecting this as this isn't a game really... but it is used in modding it. so... I dunno. Anyway, I'd prolly try to report the issue to AMD... maybe they'll hear everyone and fix it. I hate the idea that I can't ever update my video card again...

Looks like the AMD atiumdag.dll faulting issue is resolved with the optionalupdate to AMD version 18.1.1 mamaj is the bestest for letting me know about the update.

I have the same issue now. The second I create or go open a package file, my sims 4 studio just crash. It was working fine yesterday.

If you get a message stating stuff about access denied, it means you need to start S4S with admin rights.
Otherwise we need the log files from S4S to be able to help. You can find them in : my documents/sims4studio/
