Hej,
I'm totally new to this but I just installed the sims 4 studio but when I want to edit something the program just keeps crashing.
So I want to recolour my poolwater and follow the thread on this forum so:
- Go to build - Select floor and then the water - Click on next - Give it a name and save
And here it keeps crashing it just shuts down the whole program..
Reinstall did not help and also deleting the folder in documents did not work...
Please help me out..
Regards,
Lovesome

Same for me! I'm just trying to go through my CC and delete it and it lags, freezes and then crashes. Everything else is fine but the S4S /: good to know someone else is going through it as well.

Same problem here, since i updated my graphic card driver (AMD Radeon R9 200 Series, Software Adrenalin 17.12.2). S4S starts, batchfix works, all fine. But when i open a package, it crashes.

Thanks for your help. I made a driver rollback and now it works.

Hello, I have the AMD Radeon R7 200 series and my sims 4 studio Wishes version keeps crashing, i cant even use it. Dont know what happened, the last version worked fine. And this crashing started before I updated to this graphics card.

the most recent drivers are not supposed to create this problem anymore. Make sure to use the latest drivers from AMD

Same here! I have the latest AMD drivers, but it still crashes when I save my new project or open the old ones. I tried to install older version of S4S, but there is another error here when I open CAS parts, something like "System.AggregateException..." Any fix?

Im having the same issue, any time I try to do anything with S4S it crashes. I have Nvidia drivers, not AMD. I couldnt rollback my drivers because Im working off a fresh format, so I updated them. No luck. I really need a batch fix

The last update for AMD drivers didn't fix everything for everyone. I had to update my drivers and since then I was unable to use Sims4Studio (I was able to open it and do almost anything that wasn't open packages/objects), but I got it fixed. Probably the troubleshooting page helps some people, but in case it doesn't there's what I did to fix it for myself: - Download "AMD Radeon Settings" if you didn't yet and make sure you have the last version (if not, then update it). - Go to "System" - Once there go to "Interchangeable Graphics" (or something like that), look for S4Studio.exe and click on it. - Here you will have three options, choose "Energy saving". - Open Sims4Studio (on AMD Radeon Settings, the .exe should be back to 'Not assigned' but don't worry) and now it should work just fine! It didn't crash again for me, and it fixed some lag I had while all the objects were loading aswell.

Hi Flertzia, thank you for sharing this helpful information. I plan to link to your post from the troubleshooting section if that's ok with you.

Hello! So I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but I'm having the same problem as Loveso except it only happens with Sims 4 official items. I tried to recolour an item from the base game and each EP / SP and S4S crashes right after saving the package and I then I can't open the package in S4S, it just crashes. It doesn't happen with CC, I can recolour, export to blender and everything else when it comes to CC. I have a late 2015 27" iMac running on High Sierra (version 10.13.3) with AMD Radeon R9 380. I don't know if it's because of an update of the AMD Radeon as I never tried to recolour Sims 4 items before today. I looked for AMD Radeon Settings for Mac, as suggested by Flertzia but didn't find it ? I don't know much about computers though

My S4S keeps crashing aswell. However I got a Nvidia gpu and updated my drivers, so I don't see it as a AMD related issue. Hoping for a fix, it's not great to work with like this.
