What 2D editor are you using to change the shirt color?

Thanks for the reply I use Gimp2 as my editor but I didn't attempt to change the color of the shirt in gimp(I Went by your tutorial) but used S4S to change the shirt color? possibly? by using the swatch thumbnail.

The swatch thumbnail only changes the small square of color you see in the game after clicking on the garment...the square that allows you to choose a different color for the garment. To change the garment's texture you need to export the texture, change its appearance in a 2D editor, and then import that altered texture back into the .package. Tutorial steps D, E, and F show how to do this part. I hope this helps and if you have more questions please post again

You're welcome I think that little square can be confusing so I added a picture to the tutorial to better illustrate what it is for.

Hurray I did it! I was able to insert Rima Touya (from Vampire Knight) in a shirt! No pictures because I can't take snapshots in CAS even when pressing C key (or was it the right key?). I did try Print Screen but for some reason, it's not working as well. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial again!

I'm glad it's working for you hunterjin If you cannot use the Print Screen button to take a screenshot of the game it may be that you have it in full screen mode instead of windowed mode.

Without more information it's difficult for me to know what went wrong. What was your clone and what is happening when you put your .package into the game?

Right now Sims 4 Studio does not have the ability to renumber a custom content item. As far as I know, right now, the only tool you could use for this purpose would be s4pe and it would require changing a large number of fields in order to make the new item unique.

Hi! I love this program! I've been able to use it successfully on recolouring clothes.
When I recolour hair, it shows up perfectly in Sims 4 Studio, but when I select it in CAS, my sim just becomes skin-coloured (see photo attached). I've done the same thing with the hair as I did with the clothes, but it just doesn't work. Halp!
I've probably made a silly mistake.
P.s. I'm using the latest version 1.5.5.1
P.p.s Another thing I noticed: In Sims 4 Studio, when working on the clothes, the textures appear in the 'Texture' thumbnail. But with hair, it's just a blank space.
