I guess I wouldn't characterize the work that's gone into Studio as tantamount to providing a bit of glue. To see what I mean, try making your projects using a hex editor after decoding the game files with that hex editor

The point is.... S4S requires Blender, and would not be of much use at all without it. Blender is distributed right along with the S4S on this site....So why would there be a problem with giving Blender just a little credit? I don't get that at all.

There isn't any problem giving credit to the apps you use. That wasn't what I said. What I said was Studio is a bit more than a bit of glue.
Your point that Studio wouldn't be much use without Blender is incorrect. We designed Studio to go with Blender but we didn't have to. Any 3D editor will do. We chose Blender because it's free and we wanted everyone to have access to creating whether they could afford a 3D editor or not. But we could have chosen Maya, 3DS Max, the ancient workhorse Milkshape, or any other 3D editor we wanted. I'm not sure how selecting Blender makes Studio not much use without it. The point is, if Blender didn't exist, we would have picked something different. Blender didn't come from the Blender devs with an EA model inside it or the ability to automatically do things like take care of your joint assignments for you. Studio does that.
Further, we do not distribute Blender and have nothing whatsoever to do with its development. And, without any 3D editor at all, many, many mods can be made, as can recolors, and poses. Calling Studio a bit of glue in a dismissive fashion is not really very polite. Nor is it an accurate characterization of what it does when you create a new mesh item. As I said, if you think Studio's role is really so little, try using a hex editor to decode the game files. Then use your hex editor to create your new mesh item from scratch. After all, since Blender is doing all the heavy lifting according to you, that should be a snap...right?

As an reaction on your: "The point is.... S4S requires Blender, and would not be of much use at all without it."S4S doesn't require Blender at all to be honest. I have made like 82 mods and from those 82 only 3 mods required Blender. All others are made with The Sims 4 Studio and a 2D Editor. Even by only using S4S and no other program at all, you can still make a lot of mods like Orangemittens already mentioned. Think about all kinds of tuning mods, making hidden objects visible in game, adding all kinds of slots to an object or just changing descriptions and prices.

I have seen the light! I am so sorry. I was so wrong to think that two tools should be credited when two tools are being used. Thank you for showing me the way.

Again, no one has said this. If you persist in claiming that our staff in any way attempts to tell creators how to credit their work, I will remove the post as it is untrue and this has been pointed out to you numerous times. Our team has never, in any way, told creators how they should present their art. No one here cares how you, personally, credit your work.
This forum is not the place for made-up drama. Your sarcasm in the face of the polite reception you have received here is unappreciated. I really do think that you would be more comfortable participating in a community where your lack of civility is welcome. This is not that community. If you persist in your rude behavior and obstinate refusal to actually read the things said to you I will remove your account.
