Can I clone this so I have slots for my converted wine rack? I can't for the life of me figure out how to add slots. I tried reading your tutorial on adding slots, but man it went way over my head, gave me a headache. I used a cabinet to make the converted wine rake from Sims 3.
Edit: O never mind I read the description again. It's a mod not an object. Bummer o well.

@countrykris you're more than welcome to use the slots mod to make your new item. Put it in your Studio mods folder and clone one of the cabinets that it modifies. The slots from this mod should be pulled into your .package to overwrite the slot resource. If what you want to end up with is a wine rack rather than a cabinet there are other modifications you can make to your item to achieve that. If you would like to collaborate on the item PM me.

For some reason its not working anymore. I tried to clone a new cabinet so I could get the bones to use on my wine rack, it's not showing any of them now. I uninstalled studio and re installed it tried again and it still shows no bones.

That is a bug. This will be is fixed in Joy's new beta test that is going up tonight. If it goes well the code will be transferred to Love and that should be updated in a matter of days. Thank you for letting me know

I just downloaded and can't wait to build!!! If I want to upload a lot or room to the EA gallery, will this mod prevent it from showing up on the EA site? Should I make my builds first for sharing then add your mod for my own decorating?

The EA cabinet system is pretty nice but...it lacks slots on top of the cabinets. I don't know about you but I want to put stuff on the cabinets and I want to be able to do it regardless of which cabinet I'm using. This mod fixes that little (well kinda big) problem by putting oodles of slots on EA's cabinets. Because the cabinets are next to the wall larger objects will need the MOO cheat in order to hop onto the slots nearest the wall. Otherwise there really is no caveat...the cabinets are loaded with slots and they slide up and down with stuff on top of them.
There is a large slot and medium slots on each kind of cabinet for all of the EA cabinets.
This mod contains the resources needed to add slots to EA's cabinets and only those resources. No extra junk. It's all in one .package that you can just put in your mods folder before beginning to clutter up your cabinets. All the pics are in-game screenshots and the download is below the first picture.

If you would like to use the slots on cabinet recolors/meshes this tutorial shows how. This is wonderful

Now this makes me too jealously in love with this. Its like you guys read my mind and made it possible. Thanks to you orangemittens and andrew for this wonderful idea. Now my cabinets can be cluttered with all sorts of decorative kitchen objects. Well I just hope there is a place for my Sims glass of Palmwine
