Hi! I was wondering what you guys think about the new upcoming big update Blender will release later this year. Than 2.80 version. It has a lot of new features like a new real time engine, 2d painting and drawing restructured and a new interface that is simple! (big change). I think the last change will help a lot of people because it is going to be easier to learn the program and not to get lost at first opening lol  You can learn more HERE.  |

Dear Moderators,
Now that Blender 2.8 is out I'm having problems impporting my meshes, since Studio is telling me, I need to have Blender version 2.7 and not 2.8, but I already updated and made the mesh wit the new version...
Will there be an update of Studio soon? Or can I fix it in this version somehow?

mikota studio will not be updated for 2.8. It works only with 2.70 or 2.76. Append your mesh in either of those versions and finish in there.

I use Blender 2.78c and it works fine for me, I find it much better than 2.70, I haven't tried 2.76.

Hello, I am new to blender/cc creating. I know we should use blender 2.70 , 2.76 and in some cases 2.78 but I am not able to do much in any other blender but 2.80 because of personal limitations when it comes to physically using a keyboard + mouse at the same time. Editing mesh / UV's are easier for me to do on 2.8 otherwise I would use the versions that are compatible with sims studio 4. I know where the append button in blender is and I have tried appending into blender 2.8 but any textures on mesh or model don't seem to load. Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or point me in the right direction? Or at least tell me it's not possible and I should give up on dreams of making myself sexy shoes lol. Every tutorial I find uses the versions I can't use and I am starting to lose hope.
