If you are getting that message on the download page and you are already logged in, then you need to log out and then log in again. If that does not fix the problem, post again. It logs you out when you click on the link. |

Hi all, you need to be sure you are logging in to Sims4Studio.com. If your browser has this address: Sims4Studio.forums.net you will not be able to log in. If you are trying to log in, please check the address bar to be sure you're logging into the right address.
Since so many people are having this problem, I have opened the download section so that you will not need to log in to download. If anyone is still having problems now that no login is required, please post again.

I'm unable to download the new version of S4S. I receive this message when trying to download, "Windows cannot access the specific device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". I'm my own admin for my PC so I don't understand why I'm unable to access the file. Then I'm unable to delete it from my downloads folder. When I try to delete it, it says "File access denied". I haven't had these problems before.

Hi iplayforsims4, something must have changed on your computer because no Studio code was added, removed, or changed that would cause you to be unable to access its file on your computer. This link at Microsoft links to other pages that go over reasons for this kind of issue and ways to fix it. There really is nothing we can do on our end to control events on your computer. |

Hey orangemittens! I was able to get the program installed on my PC. For whatever reason, Norton wasn't allowing the file and saying that it wasn't safe and removed it from my PC. I had it recovered and was able to download. Thank you!
