So basically anyone who did use the mod and have legitimate criticisms toward it or suggestions on how to improve it (which I assumed was the point of releasing it in a clearly unfinished state) are irrelevant because they stopped using it? I guess that's one way to handle feedback Like...this isn't just me coming into troll or rub another person's mod in your faces and I apologize if it came off that way. Because, for a while, I was using both this and Triplis' mod in tandem (the original version of this mod, to be specific). You got some neat ideas (specifically the spell books) and I look forward to seeing how this mod progresses (I wouldn't still check up on it every now and then if I didn't) but right now it feels like you might be biting off more than you can chew. Especially if you are mostly doing this by yourself. I noticed you've told people having difficulties that they lack guidance and should wait for you to release a guide or something. But who releases a mod without detailed instructions on how it works and how to use it in the first place? If you're introducing something that adds a complex new feature to the game, it's not very wise to have people just wing it and tell them that if they don't get it, or they're not satisfied, then they should just wait for a detailed guide that, honestly, should have been released before the mod. That's almost asking for harsh criticism. And I feel like I must reiterate, I'm not just doing this to be an ***hole or to be rude or to talk down to you like you haven't been working hard on this mod. Like I said, it's a brilliant idea and anything that adds different facets of magic and different cultures to the game is much appreciated. I just can't shake the feeling that this whole thing wasn't planned out very well before it was given out to the public. It's like a Fallout 76 situation.

i think what trips me out is you guys treat modders like they are ea. in the sense that you act like you're paying for something and not getting your money worth so you just have to be oh so firm, blunt ,curt or just down right rude in how you suggest things. there is a really easy way to come off as suggestive, helpful and supportive and not be confused in anyway as just being critical, entitled and rude. I feel if you are having to say alot "im not trying to be an esteemed friend" you prolly understand that your tone and or manner of speaking gets you accused of this often.
These modders do a lot of work, for no money and often share them just because they want to provide people with something they worked on. When something is offered in a manner it seems highly ridiculous to be OUTRAGED in even the smallest way lol , this is like having an attitude over a GIFT someone gives you. It's literally ungrateful. If you paid for this stuff, you would have some leg to stand on with the self proclaimed annoyance that some of you experience but you're not paying for anything. How modders handle their mods is up to them one way or another and not in all circumstances do people even ASK for your criticism, they don't necessarily want to make a mod YOU want they want to make a mod THEY want and they wish to share THAT with you. Downloading it is optional and any modder opting not to take advice or criticism is also optional. These mods are often ongoing projects constantly updated and worked on so its not a matter of biting off more than one can chew because these modders aren't required to live up to some kind of expectation like EA. Nothing these modders should do should "ask" for ask criticism tbh, there is no reason for 'harsh' criticism because the harsh is largely unconstructive. Most mods are considered a W.I.P which is Work in Progress , meaning subject to changes at all and any given time because it's not done. if you don't want to participate with a mod that has so much 'roadwork' left to do, you just simply don't use it, you can do that without deciding who deserves harsh critic .

The thread has been locked by the mod's developers request until the update is ready. Please be patient.
