I have followed the tutorial by Orangemittens and created a new picture mesh. When I tested it in my game I saw the funny stripe down the one side of the mesh. The original pictures do not have the stripe down the side. Can anybody tell me what I may have done wrong?

Thank you Omorfi-Mera, I just found that post and wondered if that would be my problem.
Would I be able to change that without starting all over again with my mesh? How do I get to my mesh in Studio?
I was able to find my mesh and I made the changes in warehouse. But now I have a dark framelike colour aound the inside borders of my mesh??
will soon post a pic.

Yes, you just go into the warehouse tab, export the bump map.. smooth it out (make sure you smooth out the alpha channel as well) and import it back in. No need to start over. You can export your mesh by going into the warehouse tab and just clicking "Export mesh" Let me know if you have any more questions or need clarification )

This is how it came out after I changes the bump and specular maps. I do not completely understand what you mean by smoothing out the bump map or the alpha channel?

For now, you can just download the bump map provided in the link above and import it into your program. Look for the DST Image that is grey and bumpy and replace it using the import button. As for smoothing it out and changing the alpha. You will need a program that allows you to work on DDS files (the texture). I use photoshop with a DDS plugin but gimp is another popular program. You open it up and paint over it using the same shade of grey (just use the eyedropper tool to select the color) to smooth out the image so that it looks like a solid color. You have to make sure that all the channel layers (found right next to your layers tab) are are smooth as well, including the alpha layer (if your texture has one). When you're done, you need to save it with "interpolated alpha" and "generate MIP maps" selected

Thanks, I think I've got it.
I changed only the bump map and it looks far better, but I am still not completely satisfied with it. Will go compare it wit the original texture to see.
