Hi lessinia, the batch fix is implemented in Sims 4 Studio already. You can find it in the top menu bar by choosing Content Management/Batch Fixes/CAS/Allow CC for random. You will get a popup box that allows you to choose the folder you on which you want to run the batch fix and the folder where Studio will generate a backup of all files it fixes. After the batch fix is complete, the fixed packages will be in your Sims 4/Mods folder. Start up the game and check to be sure you're happy with the results. If you are not happy, you can copy the contents of the backup folder into your Sims 4/Mods folder to overwrite all the changes that were made. Please note, running this batch fix will make it so that anything it changes can show up on random Sims. I was posting while you were trying it out Hi mandariina, I have not had a chance to look into the problem with CC eyes. The fix I've described here will work for hair and probably for eyebrows too. If you have examples of CC eyes that are behaving properly and acting incorrectly, I can take a look at them if you post or PM them to me.

Hi!
So I ran the batch fix for all my hair folders with no issues, and it said it fixed a fair few of them. While most of the adult hairs work now, some still don't (particularly Alesso, SkySims and Cazy), but now all of my toddler and child CC hairs won't change colour at all (despite the fix saying most didn't need anything doing), and some of the base game hair colours aren't working either (i.e. I click them but nothing happens).
Did I do something wrong? I'm new to the Sims 4 Studio so I could easily have made a mistake, I'm just completely lost on what to do now :-S

Thank you orangemittens, but I think I fixed it! So for some strange reason the eyes that wasn't working had the boxes "Human", "Vampire" and "Alien" disabled. It's very weird because it has been disabled by itself after the patch. Once I enabled the human box for all the cc eyes, they were showing perfectly in my game, even those not allowed for random. Maybe it was just my problem but I hope it helps somehow.

Hi hann550099, I too ran into one hair that was not fixed after running the batch fix. I do not yet know why this hair is still showing the problem. I am looking into it. If you post a sample or two of the child and toddler hair that is not working, I can take a look at those also. Studio's batch fix does not touch the base game hairs, so if you're having an issue with those you may need to repair your game. Thank you for sharing your findings mandariina

Hi orangemittens, I just repaired my game and I'm still having the issue with base game hairs, so that could well be an EA issue. I'll have another look through my CC hair with the batch fix to see what I can do, if not I'll post some samples Thank you so much for all your help and hard work!

So I downloaded S4S and checked on random for all of the hairs. I'm still having issues with swatches not changing, all of the Nightcrawler hairs are still not working, although one recolor for the Nightcrawler "freak on" hair started working again; latte, ghoul and some others still aren't working. There's also a few others that aren't working, but most notable was the Nightcrawler one.
EDIT: Welp, apparently all I needed to do was complain about it on the internet lol, the Freak On hair is still not working, but the Wassabi recolors ARE working. The other mentioned ones, latte and ghoul have started working as well as some LeahLilith ones that weren't. I didn't change anything between writing the post and now, just exited my game and reentered it again.

I tried disallowing CC for random and retrying the allow CC for random option but all of my child hairs are still broken. The base game ones are strange, all the colours do work, but only some hairs will actually allow me to swap swatches, other BG hairs won't change. I might try taking out all of my CC hair and seeing if that fixes the BG problem :S
Edit: Taking out the CC hair fixed the base game hair, so I'm assuming there's an issue in some of the CC D:

Ive noticed it's mostly Alpha hairs from TSR that are being affected in my game.

I have a couple of sims who have issues with swatch colors not correctly represented on the sim. It's not something I think can be fixed by the studio crew though. If you have problems with the base game hair, I'd report it to EA.
Also in more fun news... I'm seeing the sims get aged up anytime someone changes something in CAS (regardless of settings). Supposedly some of these things will be fixed when get famous comes through.
I'll try the batch fix for the CC parts of my issue though. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I'm completely new to S4S and have seen tons of simmer use it. If this batch fix works on the folders for hair, can someone explain to me how to do the batch fix?

I've just downloaded sims4studio to my MacBook for the first time to try and do this, but I can't find the tab that reads 'content management'. Am I doing something wrong, or did I download the wrong version maybe?

Regardless whether using "Valid for random" works, it's obviously not a real solution, and certainly won't fix the real problem going forward. I actually don't like my CC to be valid for random, and I use S4S to remove the flags on all my CC. That's probably why I spotted it the minute I went into cas.I also have problems with eyes too. Some have also reported similar problems with EA hair. It never ceases to amaze me at how truly incompetent EA's QA testing is. You would think something like this would have been caught pretty quick. Lucky for me I still have a working copy of my previous install. I learned from Sims 3 not to trust EA, and always keep a backup copy! I hope this gets fixed soon, but somehow I think EA will drag their feet.

Someone over on the EA forum contacted EA, and apparently they've gotten a load of complaints and are looking into a fix. It's their bug apparently.
