@wj I completely understand that. I also don't play the sims with any scary/violence mods installed for a similar reason. The horror genre is not for everyone, but I can appreciate a good horror movie!
The ghost/haunting phenomenon is a personal fascination for me. I wonder if it's haunted minds or true hauntings. Is it all a part of the human mind or is there something more that we can't see? I haven't been able to come to my own conclusion yet as I've never seen anything I couldn't explain away with good solid logic.
I used to not like horror movies at all, but sometime in 2012, when everyone else was worried about the Mayan thing; I had a very real brush with a personal medical apocalypse of my own. Something genetic that would and continues to haunt me. Anyway, when this all surfaced something in my mind flipped and suddenly horror movies weren't all that scary anymore. Now the horror movie genre is a source of interest in just wondering how someone came up with a whacked-out idea like a possessed doll, a nightmare man, or an immortal dude wielding a machete. I don't know why my mind changed about horror movies, but it seems like I need to find a horror movie that is truly unique to get a genuine scare for me and I haven't found it yet and maybe once I find it, I'll go back to not liking them? I'm not sure, but I do know that, in my mind, nothing compares to how potentially scary my genetic condition could be if I didn't keep both eyes on it all the time and even though I am doing so, it could still wreak havoc.
Truth be told, I find criminal shows, war movies, and the news more frightening. Humans are very real and very capable of doing horrible things.
To get back on track here though... I do like the little clip from the OP, it's got the proper set up for what the horror genre calls hauntings, a busted up house, a properly creepy ghost girl moving in a creepy way and it looks like they put a good bit of creative work into it with the build and animation. I like it!

@wj Sparkiekong When I was younger me and my siblings were very close. We used to watch horror movies together all the time, it was very fun and I have a lot of good memories. I think that's why I like the genre. Horror stories can be very interesting, many times they are symbolic.

There is a ton of symbolism in movies! I like stories that change up the aspect of what we know about a certain kind of monster and make it new again. When someone can come up with a new vision of an old monster, it's very interesting. I also wonder what in the past could have been mistaken for something else.

Great visuals and creepy. Reminds me of the pop-up emails people would send me at work around Halloween. Starts out simple and something just pops up to startle you! Loved it. The camera closing in on the hole in the wall was cool!
I like the goth, myth, legend stuff. Don't go for the torture-murder-death mods. But creating my own haunted house is fun! Or Vampire Castle! Love it!
And as to your comment, Sparkiemonkey, "Is it all a part of the human mind or is there something more that we can't see?" There's something more, I have proof. Although a good psyche eval professional would probably try to convince me otherwise. I know what I know! :-X
