What I found was that a garment that was tagged incorrectly with bathing and situation tags would cause any Sim assigned to wear it to become permanently bugged so that, even if I took that garment out of the Mods folder entirely, it would always wear some garment in the shower...generally an EA default garment. The only direct solution to the bugged Sim was getting rid of it and making a new Sim. Batch fixing tags cannot fix a bugged Sim...it can only prevent them from getting bugged in the first place. This is why I recommend running the fixer on all new content you put in your Mods folder prior to using it. There is a discussion over at EA forums about this topic and one person said they found a workaround that sounds a little tedious but not too bad if you would prefer to try to keep the bugged Sims you have. I've never tried this myself but, while resetting the Sim's default clothes doesn't fix the bug, it seems you can copy outfits from an unbugged Sim over to one that is bugged and that will fix this. I was having this same problem, so I was wondering do you just have to make a whole new sim or do you have to delete it all together? This amazing by the way! Thanks!

Hi jarrettjs, welcome to Studio forums. I fixed the problem I had by deleting the bugged Sim and creating a new Sim. The link I posted was to a discussion about a method that might work if you would rather keep the Sim and try to fix it. I haven't tried that method so I cannot promise it will work but other people have said it sometimes will.

It keeps telling me I have an invalid file path to my games although it isn't!
Edit; never mind, figured it out
Also, my problem isn't CC. I took everything out and she still wore a bra in the shower. Will this help for that?

Hi kyararose, welcome to Studio forums. If a creator has tagged a garment to be displayed when the Sim is nude in some cases this can permanently bug the Sim so that no matter what you do they will always wear some garment in the shower. If they don't have access to the garment that caused them to be bugged they will wear the EA default bra instead. This batch fix can make it so the problem doesn't arise in the first place but it cannot fix a Sim that has already had the problem happen. There was a discussion in the EA forums where a method of fixing a Sim bugged in this way was introduced. Some people say they've had success fixing a Sim this way. I've never tried it myself so I can't say whether it will work but if you want to fix your Sim it might be worth a try. The thread is HERE.

Yeah thanks for your reply. I actually did end up reading and figured it out and started over AGAIN lol... Oh well... It's fixed now. So glad I found this program and figured it out. I kept removing every single top trying to find the offending clothing... I really wish creators would stop allowing their garments to be worn nude. It's very obnoxious. But I'm very glad there was a very easy fix with your program without having to delete all the stuff I like....
Now to find the garments that are working only SOMETIMES.... I renamed them as I downloaded them, hoping that would make things easier... but it didn't.... Boo.... Can your program help with that?

Mine said=fixed-9 Unable to fix-1 No fix needed-1403
Can I fix that one or is it uncapable of being so?
Also NOW my new sims females are bathing in shirts and shorts, bad to worse.

Hi fireidar, the Studio batch fix is only able to fix content that was tagged incorrectly...it cannot fix a Sim that has become bugged by wearing that incorrectly tagged content prior to its being fixed. If Studio passed one up I would have to see the .package to know what the issue was that stopped it from fixing it.
You're welcome jellynick.

I was really hoping to never encounter this bug again when Sims 4 came out... it just drove me insane in Sims 3. First of all thanks for your effort! When I went through the procedures for the first time it reported 8 fixed and around 200 no need to fix. I played the game and the problem's still there! I deleted my save and started all over with a new character, to no avail. The clothing my sims would wear in shower vary for each sim and each new save I created. I ran the studio again and it reported nothing fixed or unable to fix, so... I guess I'll resort to deleting all the cc I have for now. :/
Edit: ok I deleted a bunch of cc and now the problem has been solved... lol, I'm sure the batch fix helped nonetheless! Thanks!

Hi suiseseki, welcome to Studio forums. If you post some of the content that was showing on your Sim while showering in spite of having Studio say it was fixed or didn't need fixing I can take a look at it. My understanding of this bug is that it occurs when a garment is improperly tagged as being appropriate attire for the nude state. Studio's batch fix does nothing except go through your content and retag garments so that they do not have this inappropriate tag. If there is something else causing Sims to shower in their clothes it would be good to figure out what that is so Studio could expand this batch fix to catch items with that issue as well.

This was perfect, though before I even heard of a way to do it like this, I simply got rid of the top that caused the problem for my females...so now I'm stuck with the default bra that just won't seem to go away. Is there a way I can override it so it will no longer be in the shower? Because, of course, the default bra is not in my cc.

Hi zzzzz, welcome to Studio forums. Under certain circumstances if an item was tagged incorrectly a Sim that had that item in their wardrobe when the game was saved can become bugged so that they will always wear a garment in the shower or bath. If the garment that bugged them is removed from the game they will wear the EA default underwear. The Studio batch fixer only changes the tags on your CC garments so that they won't bug a Sim any more...it cannot fix a Sim once it has been bugged. Studio can make a default override of the bra and swap the mesh out for a nude top. Presumably this nude top would then show up in the shower instead of the bra. The nude top would also show up in CAS as the default top wherever the bra shows up now.

I did the cheat and everything, but it is showing my sim in the shower with a dress I don't even own and jewelry. I am mildly confused.

Nice work! It fixed 1 out of about 300 cc items but all it takes is one bad apple, right?
