I resized the Lin-Z Smart Speaker and wanted to keep the lights on top of the speaker, instead of just removing them completely. I attempted to resize the _FX_ under 'Rig > Bones' but it does absolutely nothing. Here is the .package with the resized speaker.

Hi SrslySims! If I were able to ask the game devs for just -one- thing for Christmas, it would be for them to re-enable the resizing of FX for us. They killed the ability with the pre-Pets patch, and in the process killed much of my CC to which I had carefully re-sized FX to match. I was a mad panda that day... o_0 While I have tried many different approaches, I have yet to find a way around it. The *only* person outside of the official team who *might* be closest to some sort of work-around or 'solution' would be andrew here... I still, after all this time, stop and wonder what the official team was thinking in yanking the ability to re-size the game's FX. But then I think 'Whatever', it is the Sims 4 team, and what they do and how they do it is a mystery to me (and us all). I think that coolspear would agree with me, if he hasn't said the exact thing himself, that if you put an infinite number of monkeys, each with an infinite number of typewriters in a room, eventually one will write a tuning file that Maxis will use... Cheers.

Hi Dave Rawels, Sadly, no. There is actually a post by none other than Inge Jones requesting the binary template for the FX data file HERE, and my post on the Official Forums asking for the devs to re-enable the resizing of the FX as it was before C & D HERE. Both post threads are on the third page of the rather slow-moving Mods & CC Technical Discussions section, so I do not think that it is an issue for the devs at all. Meaning that they do not care one whit about whatever we would like to create with re-sized FX, and are probably 100% A-OK with us not having that ability, as we would then be able to create things that they have no interest in seeing realized, for whatever reason... MizoreYukii knows of a tool that can edit (my understanding is overwrite) the actual FX themselves, but for my needs it is too much to delve into, as I simply with to play with individual instances of any given FX with whichever object I please... Darn, some of my saltiness has leeched into my morning coffee. o_0
