I just play tested it and all my babies icons are floating in the interface (legs but no face) and when she interacts with her babies the task bubbles show emptiness. The mod is broken because the invisible crib is now located half a square lower than it should be, causing the babies to "float" in the interface, the animations to be broken and the shadows too (you can see it when you put the baby into a vampire crib, the crib shadows are half a square lower than they're supposed to be). update: yesterday out of curiosity i "fixed" the animation/shadow issue by moving the rig up by 0,5 squares (and play tested it). then i thought why not fix the floating legs issue and tweaked the mod further, now my "fix" doesn't work in any form, the shadows/animations show up at the right places but i can't interact with the child when it's in a custom crib fml. i have no idea what i've done. i fixed the floating legs issue by deleting localthumbcache (following this thread: answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Sims-4-Babies-only-show-legs-in-portrait-panel/td-p/5432854) but i have to keep using the original version of the mod where the animations are shifted by 0,5 squares otherwise i can't interact with my babies at all. I really wish whatever I did last night I would have just left it at it.

Thankyou for trying! If you do manage to tweak a working version I'm sure soooo many of us would be elated! I could even live with the floating legs issue!

Yes that's right! I would like the invisible crib mod to be compatible with the latest version of the game (June 2019) Don't worry that's no problem at all it's very easy and it's better you're doing it yourself so you're never going to have a problem with outdated CC's anymore since this works for all of them also the CAS (Creat a Sim) ones don't worry like I said it's very easy You will need: Sims4Studio (link) and the ModsAfter Installing run Sims4Studio (Tip: The best is to store the not working CC's in your sims4 mods folder) And go like the following:
Since you never have done this I would recommend to run through the whole right column if you run all of them you're not just fixing the crib you're actually fixing all objects that aren't up to date with the version of the game anyways After selecting one in my case now the Cats and Dogs Fix That window will Pop up Just select the mods folder and hit run Sims4Studio will now fix every CC that isn't compatible with the Cats and Dogs patch and also creats a back up folder in case you still need the old outdated version just go on like that with the other columns and soon all your objects will be working with the current version of the game again you can do the same with the CAS option of course to make hair and stuff work and yeah well that's it once Sims4Studios is through with it all you can start your game and enjoy your CC's again

O M G ... I've used S4S before, many times in fact, but whenever I ran this mod through it said "no fix needed" so I assumed it wouldn't touch it! Tried again, tested in game and all seems to be great now! Thanks again

I just tried every batch fix, but the CC tags for CAS as I don't see how they would have any affect. None of this seemed to help me at all so I would say this mod DEFINITELY needs updated or recreated altogether by someone. If I ever learn modding this is one of my first stops. Alas I suspect that's time consuming to learn and haven't worked myself up to trying yet. lol

I really wish whatever I did last night I would have just left it at it. Non-modder has a maybe obvious thought: If I understand correctly you made a correction that fixes the animations and general line-up. I'm assuming you then tested this with the vampire crib which is edited, but not replaced with this mod. What I'm not clear on is did you test with Baby Without Crib crib + decorative crib before or after you tried to fix the thumbnails? Or did you only test with vampire crib before the thumbnails fix attempt? Also did you ever test with only Baby Without Crib crib, but no decorative crib? I ask because I am wondering: A.) Did the attempt to fix the thumbnail image break your fix or was it already broken with the first fix and you simply didn't notice because B.) Perhaps the decorative crib is blocking the ability to interact with the adjusted Baby With No Crib crib(not an issue with the vampire crib as you use no decorative crib with this) because of the way it is now lined up? If this is the case then maybe the solution is to somehow move the footprint on the decorative crib in relation to your fix without moving where it appears? I know this would mean having to adjust EVERY decorative crib in the future(bath fix for that would obviously be awesome) if it is the case, but it could be a fix if that's the issue. Did I make sense or just talk in circles and babble nonsensically?

"Also did you ever test with only Baby Without Crib crib, but no decorative crib?" lmao I had to read that thrice.
Okay so I have never ever modded a single thing before other than adjusting mod buff lengths.
I see how confusing my initial post was so here goes: The screenshots I posted were to prove that the mod is indeed broken, both the animation and the thumbnail (I can't capture interface when doing screenshots alotho I've enabled it in the settings for some strange reason, idk wtf is going on with my game there so you'll just have to believe me about the thumbnail issue :'D).
I opened the mod and moved the rig 0,5 squares up, saved it, put it in my game, ran the game, the animations were working perfectly (I thought I had fixed the mod yay). Let's call this mod State A.
Then I thought why not fix the thumbnails? And tweaked the mod further. Saved it, put in the game, ran the game. Let's call it mod State B. That state broke everything, I couldn't interact with both cribs and free floating babies and the thumbnails were still broken.
I deleted State B, pulled out the original mod, moved the rig by 0,5 squares again, aka put it into State A again, put in in the game, ran the game, everything was still broken altho that was the fix that was previously working. I was confused and frustrated, cried internally and gave up.
The only thing that seems to fix the thumbnails issue so far is deleting the "localthumbcache" file every once in a while. I might try another rig fix later when I feel up to it :'D

I was really hoping I'd stumbled on an idiot savant moment there that would solve all your problems. lol Good luck on your second attempt. I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this thread as the localthumbcache trick isn't working for me(and I delete that puppy regularly)and the animations were the more frustrating part anyways. I'd be really excited to see a fix for this even if it is only minor.

Have you tried using this mod alone without other mods? Maybe it's a mod conflict and not the mod itself? Maybe remove the mod you tweaked and redownload a fresh one. If it works fine, it's your tweaking. If it does the same it's the mod. But, to be sure, you need to give this mod a solo chance without any other cc in the way.
