I want to take the tuning of a card table and change the text and textures of the cards at my custom table but still make it possible to play regular cards at a normal card table. I created these two card overrides HERE (cards) and HERE (card box) but I want to make those two card files only appear on my card table HERE. I don't know a lot about tuning, so I thought I'd give the card and box override a custom tuningID and then transfer that tuningID over to the card game tuning. However, as much as I looked, all I could find that mentioned any card asset was this: However, that number doesn't appear anywhere on the card override file. I tried replacing it and nothing happened. Am I going about this in the right way or is what I'm trying to do impossible? If so, are there any suggestions on what I could do to get a similar result to the project I want to make? I'm also having a completely separate issue where I'm changing the text that appears when you click on the card box, but after sims play a round, two options pop up, one being the original text.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! UPDATE 6/4/2019: I figured out what the text issue was. I had an extra tuning resource in the Warehouse that wasn't being used. I updated the first file and rewrote some of the post to make it more clear on my issue/question(s).

Bump.
I really want to work on this mod idea, but I'm very lost in how I should go about working on it. As I said, I'm not even sure if what I want to do is even possible.

However, as much as I looked, all I could find that mentioned any card asset was this: However, that number doesn't appear anywhere on the card override file. Although, even after knowing this fact and making my own custom card set using your textures and referencing it in the two instances in the tuning files, Sims use the card table as usual with no texture changes. EDIT: I actually cloned the stacked cards. I went back and cloned the spread cards and it causes the Sims to have the all too familiar "can't find path" error. Why do I even try...

simguy80 Thank you so much for going out of your way and trying. I'll try out a couple of things with the information you provided. I still don't know if what I'm attempting is even possible with s4s... I did re-try your attempt by making a recolor object of the in-game cards, giving it the new texture and then putting that instance through a Hexidecimal converter and replacing it with the definition on my table. It didn't do anything for me, either. At this point, I might have to attempt creating an entirely new card game or something, but I'm not even show how to do that or, again, if that's possible with S4S

I can't figure it out. I decided I'm just going to post them as is. It's a card table with an override that affects all card tables, but I rarely use the playing cards anyway. If I get help or make a breakthrough later on, I'll just update it.

Bumping this thread because I just installed this deck (without table) and its SO BEAUTIFUL. It'd be fantastic for my current playthrough if it could be functional to some degree. :D So, here's hoping someone notices this thread!
