I'm afraid to try to fixing them myself and will just wait for the batch fix. I don't want to play the game the way it looks right now. I know it's playable, but ugh. Thank goodness for Andrew and everyone here, there is hope that I know when he gets it done it will be great.

I am not trying to rush anyone or anything like that. Just wondering if there is an update on the status of the batch fix?

I am not trying to rush anyone or anything like that. Just wondering if there is an update on the status of the batch fix? Like I tell my boss at work EVERY DANG DAY... "I can do the job, or tell you about the job. Pick one."

I also frequently have the shiny sims issue mentioned by sraf22. It seems to be due to a missing specular in some items. This is not patch related, so I am sorry if I am posting in the wrong place, but I was wondering if it would be possible to create a batch fix for custom traits that don't show up in the relationship panel? There is a way to manually fix it, but it is very tedious.

Thank goodness for Andrew and everyone here, there is hope that I know when he gets it done it will be great. Have you checked THIS THREAD yet? Lots of posts with download links about already fixed windows by several Creators. Check and see, maybe you have some of them in your game which have been already fixed. No, but I will. Besides everything with the batch fix, I'm already spread thin with work and other things, that a break from Sims right now is fine. I'll check out that thread, and thank you for sharing this.

I almost dare not write, but it is important to me. First of all a thousand thanks for the batch Fix. :-* So much work. Unfortunately I have something that was not fixed properly. It is the garage door from Brujah which I use a lot in the game and is just so great. I tried it twice to be sure. I will send you here the original and the fixed garage door, as you wish. Here(I hope I am right in this thread)

Getting this issue too. Dear Team, First of all I want to thank you for the great help and thousands of opportunities you give us for the game. I am experiencing big issues after updating to Island Living. A lot of decoratives such as pillows but especially plants, have the 'sit' option when clicking on them and sims, as free willed, sit on them. and many many more plants from other creators such as MXIMS Warsaw Bathroom Plant, MINC7878-MXIMS AJ Design Letters F (plant),Simply Styling Bambus Plant TS3-TS4

hogwartsgeek , if you are having the issue of sims sitting on plants, check your Mods folder for the following file: daer0n MDN NSD outdoor set nomad outdoor chair.packageIf you have it, remove it. Unfortunately, this file is the cause of sims sitting on plants. forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/965313/error-132 -- second to last post Don't forget to delete your thumbnail cache and repair your game. 😊

Anybody who has this chair and want the fixed version, may contact her via PM. Thank you. I do have that file and I've removed it and deleted thumbnail cache and repaired game. Now, the affected cc won't appear when I place them. :(

I’m sorry but I do not understand what you mean. You removed the broken chair? Yeah, I removed the broken chair but the objects that had "sit" when they're clicked now disappear when trying to place them.

Yeah, I removed the broken chair but the objects that had "sit" when they're clicked now disappear when trying to place them. Oh ok. I was kinda confused for a minute Are those made by the same creator? No, dozens of different creators.

No, dozens of different creators. Have you tried to run the cats&dogs batch fix yet on those objects? I tried but still the same. I'm getting error code 111 with the affected items.

hogwartsgeek, I agree with @wj. If the objects disappeared, you may have other, outdated mods or content in your game. My suggestion is to do the 50/50 method first***. If that doesn't work, then try replacing the Daer0n chair and then deleting the other items from all your lots (the ones that are now not showing up). Just make certain you delete the cache files, run ALL the batch fixes, and do a Repair Game once you've done either process. ***put any item that isn't working into a separate folder instead of deleting, just in case.

Thanks, I found the culprit and removed it from my game. I created a new sims folder and moved the necessary files over. Now, all my sims have been stripped of their cc even though its back in game and the "allow mods and scripts" options are ticked.
