Okay - I ran the batch fix and then I ran the cheat fix.
It fixed 730 chairs in less than two minutes.
Dining chairs and desk chairs are fixed (I randomly tested new mesh chairs and conversions and recolors).
However, when it comes to barstools, the only ones that worked after testing all of them are these:
Jomsims - osriumbartsool.package OMBoomBarStool.package PilarFluxBarstool.package PilarIslaBarstool.package PilarSassiBarstool.package PilarTaleaBarstool.package
None of them are showing on the list of chairs fixed.
Did this not do stools (that slot to counters/bars)?
I have the tray/cc files for those that worked and didn't work if you want them - just let me know. I also have a spreadsheet, lol.

Thank you so much for the update and the batch fix! I tried the cheat fix for the saves, and it seems like it works - haven't noticed anything really missing so far at least.

Will the batch fix work with merged packages?

The batch fix is not fixing bar stools because we didn't know they were broken. They'll be added soon, so bar stools will work also. The batch fix should work on merged packages, although it may provide a batch fix history for the entire merged package rather than adding one to each chair in the merged package. Optimally, you might want to unmerge before fixing and then re-merge after.

Thank you so much for that information, OrangeMittens! I had no idea that you didn't know... I believe that EA affected any slotting seating item. I hope the items I listed that still work provide some clue(s). (rofl)

You are amazing people. The release of your batch fix for chairs and now for barstools was incredibly quick. I feel VERY grateful and want to say a big thank you for everything you are doing to fix the game and to keep us enjoying it so much.

Hey! Thank you very much for your work! But I got a problem. I cannot invoke the cheat console. I've used different methods and it doesn't work for me. Maybe you can tell me what to do more?

Hi iggymsims, you need to click and hold the Ctrl button, then click and hold the Shift button, and then click c key on your keyboard. At the point where you click the c key, all three need to be held down. You can't click the first and then let go.

This may be a dumb question but does the batch fix work on mac or just windows? If it does work on mac, am I supposed to put the batch fix file in a specific folder? I don't know if I need to place the file elsewhere or it's because I'm on a mac orrrr it's because all my cc is merged someone help ah

Sims4Studio is software, and the batch fixes are commands that you can find on the Content Management menu when you run that software. Since Sims4Studio has a MacOS version, the batchfixes will work on a Mac as long as you have downloaded and correctly installed the MacOS version of Sims4Studio.

Hi just ran the batch fix for cc chairs with the cheats. it said no fixes needed. I opened up my game to test it out and they were still broken. Am I doing something wrong😭
Edit: Wait do i have to run both batch fixes. so the one that alters the save and the batch fix in the tool options. if so in which order do I do so.

Am I doing something wrong😭 Edit: Wait do i have to run both batch fixes. so the one that alters the save and the batch fix in the tool options. if so in which order do I do so. The cheat is an experimental option for experienced users of CC and S4S. It is not necessary at all, it's just a convenience feature for people who had a lot of CC chairs in their saves to avoid having to replace them all by hand, and it only works after you've already successfully fixed the chairs. The batch fix must be run on a folder which contains the files for your broken chairs. (It's ok if they're in subfolders within that folder.) Make sure you didn't accidentally pick a folder to run it on that caused it to ignore your chairs. (e.g. if your chairs are in Mods/BB and you accidentally ran the fix on Mods/CAS, or if you have your CC sorted by creator and you accidentally ran the fix on a single creator's folder instead of the whole Mods folder) Also, slottable chairs that aren't categorized as either dining/desk chairs or bar stools may not be recognized as needing to be fixed.
