ive just heard horror stories about the new patch breaking alpha skins and hair and preset/sliders. Im so sad right now im waiting for updates here, but kinda confirming if im right that no kind of batch fix would be able to fix sliders/presets right?

The presets I have default to EA's body thumbnail, but still show up on my sims.

Hi all, there have been reports that some items were broken in the patch. If someone could post an example of an item that no longer works since the patch, that would be helpful. It's difficult to know if the problem can be batch fixed or not without an example of the problem.

I saw this post on Patreon... LRLE Texture issue After the 1.89.214 patch, most items using LRLE textures have glitch. If you haven't patched to the latest version yet, i recommend deferring the patch.

orangemittens So apparently all skin, hair and maybe even makeup that were converted to LRE2 textures now have to be converted back to RLE2 textures :( Is this something that could be possible to do with a sims4studio batch fix? Or is this something that would need to be done manually? If it needs to be done manually is there a tutorial for this? I have no issues converting custom textures that I use in game manually if that is the only way to do it... I would just need to know how lol

Some good news here for alpha cc hair and sliders. CmarNYC has created a fix for both sliders and alpha hairs that he just posted on MTS I don´t know if I am allowed to post links, so just google CmarNYC, it is the very first search result.

There is another thing: for some reason CC shoes keep attaching themselves to the werewolves, even though they shouldn't be able to wear any shoes at all (and you can't remove them for this exact reason). Maybe CC shoes could be disabled for werewolves or something?

I am removing the shoes that keep getting put on my werewolf (I tried 6 or 7 times during his transformation but the same shoes ALWAYS got stuck on him) - I've never seen any others personally, but he's the only wolf I have right now so... But yeah, a batch fix to disable all shoes for werewolves would be NICE

It's difficult to know if the problem can be batch fixed or not without an example of the problem. All of my body sliders are messed up, for example all by Luumia are not working. Apparently it has something to do with hot spot controls. I know someone created a tool to update them, but it's only for PC and I have a Macbook, so if there's any way sliders could be fixed through S4S, that'd be amazing! Thank you for all your hard work and looking into it even if it's not possible.

How long until Sims 4 Studio is updated for Werewolves? I never watched out for an update that desperate like this time. But this time it needs a batchfix so bad, I'm the CAS girl, so these issues affect me the most.

Studio just updated with a batch fix for slider-compatible hairs that were broken by the patch. The batch fix will correct the problem that made them look bad in the game while leaving them color slider compatible. There is also a batch fix that should fix broken body slider mods.
We'll take a look at the shoe and skin detail problems next.
