Post re: patch-related issues that may need a batch fix here

Hello, I was not very aware of gameplay so when I was sims I did not notice the problem but as they asked me so much in messages I decided to make a gameplay game and take pictures to see if the clothes looked or not

I deleted that cc anyway because I had it before for a mesh but it seems that the creator updated it to the cc and did it again and now it doesn't require that mesh anymore

is wrong only in live mode(in mode cas no)


in sims4studio:


Clothes work for me in Cas and Live mode, without error(that is without sim bright white, black or sim black)
my graphic configuration is sims: very high

portatil mode: no

textures: activated

postprocessing effects: activated

illumination: very high

smoothing: high

(I've never had to touch that setting)

I hope someone will find this list of the cc that I love and that works for me useful

edit: Now I have to see the part of the accessories that I have (honestly I expect the worst but xD)

I will continue testing clothes in live mode but so far 99% of the items work for me, and most are maxis match or retextures

look at the thread you mentioned, I was going to do the same steps but when I opened it there was nothing marked only a trasparent background with no form of clothes (I don't know if I opened it for the best?) so what I did was remove the shadow in sims4studio and now it works in the live mode



I saw it in the cas in the same way that I now see it in live mode but I don't know if it is 100% fixed since I had never tried it in live mode when there was no such problem so I can not say anything
anyway I still have the previous file so if there is something wrong then ..

but if it was the shadow:) (at least now xD works) even if I removed it from my game because I had only installed it for something that no longer needs it but I know that a person I am helping will at least serve

I have also removed the localthum.cache so that the sim thumbnail returns to normal

the skirt of simpliacity when trying it looked almost completely black sim not like the previous japanese hakama, I left it without shadow and the skirt worked again at least for me

yes, I only have it for Cas mode because for living mode it shows that the skirt is broken but I have not found a similar XD

I only noticed this thread now, so I'll refer to the post I made about patch-related cc issues earlier: LINK

I can't see another thread for it, so I'll post it here. After the patch a few of my game was crashing when I tried to enter a few of my lots. Narrowed down my CC to bookcases, there were different book cases in each lot, all of them CC. I'm assuming its to do with the update that mentions Sims being better at tidying them away.

Studio hasn't been updated for this patch. Most likely it will be updated when Discover University will be released whenever developers have a free time for updating. There is no time frame when it will be updated, but thank you for posting about these new issues.

shadowedeyes, I was expecting that CC showers will be broken since EA added new woohoo interaction to the showers.

No idea what exactly broke with the Nov. update, but I've just spent a good portion of today converting all my cc shower stalls gleaned from various sources (TSR, etc.). I tried just switching the tuning ID and name, but that didn't work, so I based all of them off the crystal box shower. I basically exported the shadow meshes and regular meshes from the cc shower stalls, created a new instance of the Crystal Box shower stall, and then imported the meshes onto it and updated the catalog information.

Then I found out there may be an issue with CC beds: forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/968717/broken-updated-mods-cc-university-edition#latest
So far, the ones I have seem to be okay.

Are batch updates planned soon?
