I really like my cc eyes to have shadows, but when sims turn their eyes it can look kinda terrifying to see all the dark sclera. I made this to avoid that. It consists of default eye colors that have to highlights or shadows and skin details that place transparent overlays on the eyes with static highlights and shadows, creating the appearance of more realistic eyes.
It works on children and toddlers as well <3
There are 42 variations of lights/shadows and recolors of them or alternative no shadow/light default eyes would be encouraged.
I need testers to generally just play with them for a bit to narrow down where there are problems. The overlay sits between the eye sclera and the eyelid, so some clipping in extreme animations is unavoidable, though I'd like to identify how it occurs to minimize it if possible.
Please reply and tell me in this thread if you're interested. General feedback is also welcome.

Why has no one posted on this? This is brilliant! I don't have much time but if you're still looking for testers I can try my best.

Hi simadream this looks good! I also find the shadows and highlights moving with the eye to be distracting and weird. I'd like to try your mod too! Does it affect the use of other items on the eyes like custom eyelashes?

Sorry to everyone. Things with TS4 took a weird turn with Island Living forward and I got bored of the game and took a break from it. I had not received any responses for these, so I forgot about them.
Anyway, I will be PM'ing you each. If anyone else is interested, please reply here as well.

If you're still looking for testers, I'd love to try your content! I have many CC eyes and skin details but this kind of overlay I've never tried and I'm super duper interested in testing :D

I'm guessing the creator is not still actively testing something that was originally posted about over a year ago, but simadream I'd love to know whatever came of this.
