Hello!
So I'm a long time Sims player, though pretty new to The Sims 4. I was holding out because I really only like making sims and building houses and the loss of the color/patterns picker for literally everything was a deterrent. And I'm also using a Mac (10.12.3 imac). I'm loving 4; at least enough to buy several expansions and stuff packs. Still, the lack of complete customization bugs me. So I thought I'd give creating my own content a try. But I'm running into some problems.
I'm not the most computer literate person. I have a working understanding of photoshop and most other adobe programs. I'm an artist by trade, but those skills don't seem super useful at becoming familiar with this new software, considering the problems I'm running into seem mostly software related?
I don't seem to be able to post a reply to the bug report, despite the Sims 4 Studio telling me to do so literally anytime I try to create a save file (probably because I'm new). I'm pretty bummed considering it took some time for me to figure out how to direct it to my game files and then also get photoshop on board with .dds files. It seemed to be working (or what I think was working....who knows, I'm so new) until suddenly it stopped. Just gives me an "unauthorized access exception" error.
So, for a mac user that only barely understands the "beginner" tutorials....any suggestions?
