As you know some of the hairstyles have double mesh parts, one with simskin shader and one with simglass shader, bit in some hairstyles, the sim skin part looks darker and when you put the mouse on it, the simskin parts become bright, i have a lot of hairstyles with this problem, most of them aren't annoying but some of them look weird, I'm sure there is a way to fix this because i have a lot of hairstyles that have simskin parts but they don't look dark in the game like every hairstyle that WingsSims ever created. Does anybody know how do i fix this thing?

Simskin parts will always be slightly darker than simglass, but not very noticable. First of all, try using the batch fix for Cats & Dogs glass hair or make a blank normal map for the hair. I had an issue with HallowSims conversion of Newsea's Aphrodite. I managed to fix it by removing excess Uv maps in blender, so maybe that is the issue you're experiencing.

Hi. Removing uv_1 maps is not the best idea since the mesh will stop morphing properly, but if nothing lights up, it might be related to how the simglass parts are vertex painted or uv unwrapped in uv_1.
The issue related to normal maps and cats and dogs patch generally looks the other way, the simglass parts are darker ( like, more greyish ), but it is common for cc creators to completely remove normal maps instead of making a proper blank ones, so it would not hurt to do that

This hair in particular had uv's up to uv_5 if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure how that made simskin parts appear darker but it did fix my issue...
