I'm sorry if this isnt the right place to put this. Some months ago, since one of the S4S updates, I haven't been able to associate the program with the .package file type, making it impossible to double-click on a file and open it with Sims4Studio (which is quite convenient). I simply can't get the Sims4Studio.exe to show up in the "Open with" window. I have no problem with other file types or programs. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if anyone knows of a solution. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and tried the installer and manual version. Any help appreciated, thank you.

Yes. I understand. However the S4S.exe won't show in the "Open With..." window, and even if I browse to the folder installation and chose the .exe manually, it still won't show up. This is the only program I'm having this problem with. I'm on Windows 7 though.

This happened to me once. Sometimes if you install the latest version of S4S, it won't show up when you choose "open with." I've forgotten what this looks like on Windows 7 (I use Windows 10), but perhaps this site can be of help? www.digitalcitizen.life/how-associate-file-type-or-protocol-programOn Windows 10, I can just select "Choose another app," and find where the exe is located and click on it, but you might be able to go through and manually change the default application for package files. It's worth a shot I guess. Haven't used Windows 7 in a long time
