So I put some custom traits into my Sims 4 mods folder and they are not appearing in the game!

I heared that you can edit the files,ect to make them work but I cant figure out how, And I dont know any recent program

That opens and edits package files. I got my Sims 4 from Origin so I have no idea how to download the Electric Art thing.

I do not know any scripting so I really have no idea how to do this

The simsvip tutorial is very good for updating custom traits
